Slides from European SharePoint Conference 2013 in Copenhagen. In this session, we will focus on various hybrid scenarios, which possibilities you have on your way to the cloud and how you can manage your hybrid world. What common questions should be answered for hybrid solutions?
Protecting your files in SharePoint and OneDrive for Business When choosing a cloud collaboration platform, the most important consideration is trust in your provider. Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive for Business are covered by the core tenets of earning and maintaining trust: security, privacy, compliance, and transparency. With SharePoint and OneDrive, they’re your files. You own them and control them.
The Microsoft approach to securing your files involves:
1. A set of customer-managed tools that adapt to your organization and its security needs.
2. A Microsoft-built security control framework of technologies, operational procedures, and policies that meet the latest global standards and can quickly adapt to security trends and industry-specific needs.
These tools and processes apply to all Microsoft Office 365 services—including SharePoint and OneDrive—so all your content beyond files is secure.
Microsoft focuses its investments in the following areas:
1. Platform security
a. Infrastructure and processes of our datacenters
b. Strong encryption technologies (at rest and in transit)
2. Secure access and sharing
a. Restrict access to files to approved people, devices, apps, locations, and data classifications
b. Enforce who can share files and with whom
3. Awareness and insights
a. Complete understanding of how people in your organization are using SharePoint and OneDrive
b. Analyze usage to measure return on investment
c. Identify potentially suspicious activity
File security in SharePoint and OneDrive 6
4. Information governance
a. Classify what constitutes sensitive data and enforce how it can be used
b. Protect your organization in the event of litigation
c. Retain business-critical files when people leave your organization
5. Compliance and trust
a. Ensure that service operations are secure, compliant, trustworthy, and transparent
At Agile IT, we've been leading the trend in moving customers to the Microsoft Cloud. Along that roadmap is the need to secure and manage the devices that will access that data. The Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) focuses on managing both the data that's accessible from the cloud as well as the devices that access it. In this webinar, we introduce you to EMS and focus on how cloud technologies work together to deliver a seamless solution for protecting your data.

Are you looking for a better strategy to retire your legacy Lotus Notes applications and migrate them seamlessly to the cloud?
Office 365 & Azure brings best of both the worlds together to simplify and enhance the cloud experience. Office 365 with Azure allows more flexibility and greater business agility. It helps leveraging familiar tools for simple deployment, and user experiences as well as a leaner, controlled model for enterprises. Migration of legacy applications to the cloud gets you and your enterprise out of the business of hosting, supporting and maintaining the applications on your infrastructure.
Aqeel Haider, Vice President of Technology Solutions, WinWire Technologies shares an in-depth view of WinWire’s capabilities to retire and re-platform legacy Lotus applications to Office 365 & Azure.
Webinar Agenda:
An overview of WinWire’s approach in performing an assessment of legacy Lotus Notes applications
How to classify multiple Lotus Notes applications and our methodology around archiving, replacing, or consolidation of such applications

Avoiding the Hidden Costs of Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS)Okta-Inc
Since its introduction with Windows Server 2008, AD FS 2.0 has been Microsoft’s answer to extending enterprise identity beyond the firewall. However, building an identity management solution with the AD FS toolkit has many hidden costs. While AD FS solves some identity challenges for Microsoft’s product family, as is typical from Microsoft, many more gaps exist when attempting to integrate with cloud or mobile applications from other vendors.
Built as a single sign-on toolkit, AD FS requires a significant investment to deploy into production and still doesn’t deliver a full identity management solution. This webinar will discuss the following AD FS hidden costs as well as free alternatives that help avoid them:
-Building-out missing features
-Setup & configuration
-Hardware & software
-Availability & reliability
-On-going maintenance
Extending Active Directory to Box for Seamless IT ManagementOkta-Inc
As organizations move mission critical files and data into Box, security and productivity become increasingly important. How can IT enable users to seamlessly access Box with their existing network credentials or ensure that user accounts are automatically provisioned and deprovisioned as employee roles change?
Historically, Active Directory has been core to application security and productivity. However, Active Directory was built for on-premise networks and does not easily integrate with cloud applications like Box. Okta’s Active Directory integration service bridges this gap, takes only moments to set up, and best of all… is FREE!
This webinar will discuss Okta’s free Directory Integration Edition for Box, and how it can deliver the following benefits:
-Single sign-on with federation or delegated authentication
-Automated provisioning & de-provisioning via Security Groups
-True end-to-end provisioning from HRIS systems like Workday
-Password synchronization
-Multifactor authentication
