We went to Ibiza in 2008 and stayed in a small, clean and nice hotel in San Antonio Port. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning and explored the island, visiting beaches and villages and going parasailing one day. At night, the beaches were populated by many young people at discos and clubs, though we only went to Eden and not the more expensive and farther club Pacha. The food was wonderful and most visitors to the island, though the locals were very nice, came from places like Germany and England.

Scott and Janice embarked on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route through northern Spain. Over several weeks they walked hundreds of kilometers, passing through beautiful countryside and small towns. They encountered striking cathedrals and churches along the way. They also met many other pilgrims and enjoyed the local cuisine and culture. Upon reaching Santiago de Compostela, they were awed by the grandeur of the cathedral there and participated in pilgrim traditions. Their journey provided scenic vistas, historical sites, and lasting memories of their adventure on the Camino.

Bernia's castle
The group hiked in the Bernia mountain range near Alicante, Spain. Their guide Paco led them on an ascent towards the "Forat", a difficult tunnel crossing. From there, they had views of the Mediterranean Sea and distant islands. After continuing along the mountainside and learning about its history from guide Juan, the group descended safely through a field of daisies back to the valley.

1. Students from two schools in Spain and Poland are invited to participate in an international video karaoke contest by making a video of themselves singing a popular song between January 17th and February 20th.
2. Students must participate in groups of 2-3, choosing a song approved by their teacher. They will submit their initial video by February 20th for feedback before delivering the final version by February 24th.
3. The best videos as judged by teachers will be nominated for the Pedro de Atarrabia/Jablonna Gimnazjum Academy Award ceremony in early March, where winners will receive prizes including diplomas, DVDs, and cinema tickets.

Ibaialde News 19 (June 2011) is the last issue of this school magazine published at IES Ibaialde-Burlada High School in Spain.
After almost twenty years, we end its publication and next year we will continue with a new project at Pedro de Atarrabia in Villava.

Ibaialde News 18 (June 2010) is a school magazine made by ESL secondary school students at Ibaialde-Burlada High School in Spain, as part of their learning process. E twinning project: So Far, So Near (2009-10)
1. The document outlines ICT activities and projects for students over several months.
2. In September, students introduced themselves through video and writing on Moodle and started chatting and collaborating with project partners.
3. In October, students wrote about people they admire and shared video productions about the person they wrote about.
4. In November, students discussed their schools and hometowns through writing, videoconferencing, and sharing online resources about each other's regions.
Pilgrim´s Way (Naiara Palomo & Naiara Irigoyen)
The document summarizes part of a pilgrimage route known as the Camino de Santiago. It describes stops made by bicyclists starting in Ibaialde and traveling to Villava, Paderborn shelter, and Pamplona. Along the way, the travelers visited pilgrim refuges and spoke with volunteers, seeing firsthand the routes and facilities used by pilgrims walking the ancient trail.

A group took bicycles from their garage to do a short part of the Pilgrim's Way cycling trail, had fun exercising and taking photos along the way for a contest, practiced English with foreign pilgrims they met, and finished in Pamplona's city council square, concluding it was a fun trip.

The document summarizes stops along a pilgrimage route, including taking photos at Villava's Batán and Magdalena's bridge, touring the Paderborn house where volunteers practiced English with pilgrims, and finishing in Pamplona where another pilgrims house was visited and a "crazy photo" was taken.

This time we offer you a very special, and dear, issue of our magazine.
Special and very dear because it is dedicated to Venancio on the occasion of his retirement. He has been many years with us and then many more teaching in other schools in Burlada and other places in Navarre. Once we knew about his plans we decided we wanted to do something, and after considering a long list of possibilities, we decided to make a special issue of Ibaialde News dedicated to him. Then we made some changes from a normal magazine. As it was for Venancio, his family and his friends, we thought we should give everybody the chance to write in the language they preferred, and many have done it in Spanish. We have not translated them because that might change some of the affection and love shown in all the lines of the articles published here.
Dear Venancio, thanks and we will never forget all what you mean to us!

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to

population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming

these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is

- 2. Before starting the excursion as pilgrims, we took a photo of all the students in the school
- 3. This is Trinidad de Arre in Villava. In this place every day there are lots of pilgrims on their way to Santiago.
- 4. We arrived with our bicycles at the Batán in Villava. There for some time we were taking photographies and talking to some pilgrims in English
- 5. This is only one of the many pilgrims walking by the Trinidad de Arreon their way to Santiago. Here they usually look for place where to relax a little bit or to stay at night.
- 7. After continueing a little bit, following the many signals you find all the time while doing the Camino, we got to the Magdalena´s brigde, another important point where pilgrims pass every day. A few metres far from here we found another shelter were pilgrims arrive every day.
- 8. In this shelter some students had the opportunity to talk with some German pilgrims who where there. They could also know more about Santiago´s Way and practise English!!
- 9. Then, we continued along the Camino up to Pamplona, where more of the pilgrims arrive and stay for the night. This was the most difficult part of our trip because we had to climb a little bit to get into Pamplona!!!
