This document provides an overview of the European Cluster Conference 2012 held in Vienna. It includes brief biographies of Joseph Alois Schumpeter, an economist, and Lipizzan horses at the Spanish Riding School. The conference objectives were to promote innovation, excellence in clusters, SME internationalization through clusters, and foster new industrial value chains.
