This document announces an upcoming auction of important watches by Sotheby's in Geneva on November 13, 2011. It will feature over 270 lots including two Rolex watches that belonged to post-World War II leaders, and a unique 1944 Patek Philippe perpetual calendar chronograph. The auction will showcase timepieces from 1574 to the present day, including antique watches produced for the Chinese, Ottoman, Indian and Hispanic markets in the 18th-19th centuries decorated with enamel, pearls and portraits of rulers. The sale is estimated to exceed CHF 8 million.
