Director – KGTTI - Mangalore / Hubli / Belgaum – 01 Each 
(i) The Director plays a crucial role in the KGMSDCs. The Director is primarily responsible for the successful planning and implementation of Training Courses in their respective Training Centers. He will lead a team of qualified faculties in executing day-to-day operations and functions of KGMSDC. The Director may be stationed at Mangalore / Belgaum / Hubli * to Head the KGTTI at respective locations. He should have a strong commitment to the project and is expected to have familiarity with Training Centers, vocational and technical training and passion for human resource development. He must have an outstanding performance record, management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently and must be results-oriented. 
(ii) Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering with consistent Academic Record. 
(iii) Experience 
(a) Essential - 15 years experience in Educational Planning or Administration, Training etc. in Leading Industries or Central or State Government or University or other Institution of Higher Education or Autonomous Bodies or PSUs. Heads of Departments of Large / Medium Scale Industries with a flair for achievements in Education / Training / Human Resource Development are welcome to apply. 
(b) Desirable - Preference will be given to persons with proven record of achievements in industries and have experience at senior levels in production environment as well as training areas. 
(iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 65500/- to Rs 85000/- with a gross of Rs 1,15,213/- at lower range of pay. 
(v) Upper age Limit - 65 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013. 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Leading the team of Senior Managers, Faculties, and Administrative Staff and ensuring high- quality implementation of the Teaching and Learning processes as per course curriculum and quality standards and procedures. 
ī‚ˇ Building a cohesive team to ensure a successful Training Institute. 
ī‚ˇ Overseeing staff performance management, Students Training and Training Institute Functions and Operations 
ī‚ˇ Building and maintaining relationships with Government of India, Government of Karnataka and Industries. 
ī‚ˇ Ensuring the after training placements of trainees in Industries by maintaining close rapport with recruiters. 
ī‚ˇ Overseeing the daily operations of the Training Institute. 
ī‚ˇ Ensuring and monitoring the overall quality of the Training Institute. 
ī‚ˇ Keeping in constant communication with all Governing Council, Steering Committee and the Society 
(vii) Type of Contract – The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract for a period of two years initially but can be extended in blocks of 2 years at a time.

Faculty-Electrical /Electronics – Sr. Manager/Manager -01 Position 
(i) A Senior Manager/Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising respective training department at KGMSDC. The Manager is the immediate person the team looks up to. The ability to quickly grasp new ideas and concepts and incorporate them into institute’s daily work activities is required. Talents in communicating with a wide range of employees at different levels of authority are necessary. 
(ii) Qualification and experience 
(a) Essential - A Master’s Degree in any of the subjects of Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. 
OR 
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the subjects of Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade 
(iii) Experience 
(a) Essential- At least 10 years experience post Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 8 years experience post Master’s Degree in Engineering out of which at least three years in a position of independent responsibility or Manager or in similar capacity in a Private Industry or public / private organization involved in vocational/technical training/technical education fields in the area of Electrical/Electronics. 
(b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the persons with proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields. 
(iv) Scale of Pay – Salary will be at par with industry standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 30,000/- to Rs 45000/- with a gross of Rs 53,175/- at lower range of pay for Sr Manager Position. For Manager’s position basic pay range is Rs 28,000/- to Rs 34000/- with a gross of Rs 49,630/- at lower range of pay. 
(v) Upper age Limit- 45 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Identify “core competencies” of workforce and conduct training as per quality standards. 
ī‚ˇ Identify the training needs of the work force under him and organize training. 
ī‚ˇ Design and develop training programs and update course curriculum to reflect the latest standards being followed in the Industry.

(vii) Type of Contract - The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years which can be extended in block of two years after satisfactory performance. The candidate will be offered the position of either Sr. Manager or Manager depending on the organizational needs and experience of the candidate.

Trade: Industrial Automation 
(ii) Qualification* 
(a) Essential - B.E / B Tech / Diploma or equivalent in ECE / Mechatronics/Automation/Mechanical/Electrical. 
(b) Desirable - candidates who are having in-depth knowledge in PLC/Industrial Hydraulics/Industrial Pneumatics with good communication skills. 
Faculty- Sr. Engineer - 07 Positions 
(i) The individual would be working closely with the Training Faculty and contribute significantly to the planning and execution of key training activities for the respective discipline / trade. He shall fall into the team of Core Faculties / Master Trainers. Besides the day-to-day operations like training, preparing training calendars, motivating students and trainers, the person will be expected to contribute significantly to planning and implementation of Quality Control processes.

Trade: Electrical 
(ii) Qualification* 
(a) Essential - B.E / B Tech / Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/EEE/ECE. 
(b) Desirable - Candidates who are having in-depth knowledge in Electrical Engineering particularly in Machine Maintenance, House wiring etc. with good communication skills. 
(iii) Experience 
(a) Essential - At least 3 years experience post qualification at an analogous position in any Industry or public / private limited organization based education institutions or in Industry as trainer. 
(b) Desirable - Preference will be given to Candidates who have worked for 3 to 4 years in similar capacity. Additional Certification from any renowned organisation or institution in the respective field will be plus point. Ability to communicate in Kannada will be an added advantage. 
(iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- with a gross of Rs 26,588/- at lower range of pay for Sr. Engineer position. For Engineer’s position basic pay range is Rs 12,000/- to Rs 16000/- with a gross of Rs. 21,270/- at lower range of pay 
(v) Upper age Limit- 35 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to five years for deserving candidates 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Lead a team of qualified and experienced staff while meeting training deliverables in terms of numbers, timelines and quality. 
ī‚ˇ Interfacing with the internal and external Industry and Corporates’ to identify training needs. 
ī‚ˇ Interacting with internal and external experts from industries to discuss best practices, ways and means to improvise training methodologies. 
ī‚ˇ Monitor training effectiveness through regular feedbacks and performance scores. 
ī‚ˇ Identify and scheduling resources for training 
ī‚ˇ Maintenance of training calendars of respective training departments 
ī‚ˇ Impart training to trainers and students. 
(vii) Type of Contract The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years and can be extended in block of two years. The candidate can be offered the position of Sr. Engineer/Engineer depending on the organizational needs and experience of the candidate.

Trade: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration 
(ii) Qualification* and experience 
(a) Essential - B.E / B Tech / M Tech or equivalent in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering with three year’s experience in the relevant field 
(b) Desirable - Preference will be given to the candidates with Industry certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields/ production floors. 
Faculty - Junior Engineer – 11 Positions 
(i) The individual would be working as the Training Faculty and contribute significantly to the planning and execution of key training activities for the respective trade. Besides the day-to-day operations like training, preparing training calendars, motivating students and trainers, the person will be expected to impart quality training to students and achieve exemplary results on students’ term end evaluations.

(ii) Qualification* 
(a) Essential - Engineering Graduate / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent in Automobile Engineering. 
(b) Desirable - candidates having in-depth knowledge in Automobile Technology, latest trends in Automobile with good communication skill and dynamic personality 
(iii) Experience 
(a) Essential- At least 2 years’ experience post qualification at an analogous position in any Industry or public / private limited organization based education institutions or in Industry as trainer. 
(b) Desirable- Preference will be given to highly experienced candidates from Industries or Manufacturing plants or Training or Educational Institutions. Professional certifications from accredited organizations like AWS / IIW / WRI etc., in the case of Welding will be given due weightage. 
(iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 10,000/- to Rs 13,500/- with a gross of Rs 19,498/- at lower range of pay for Jr. Engineer position 
(v) Upper age Limit- 30 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years for deserving candidates 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Provides individual and group instruction by means of demonstrations, sketches, explanations and visual aids. 
ī‚ˇ Prepares lesson plans, determines instructional methods, and develops administers and grades evaluations in theory and practice of a trade 
ī‚ˇ Creates and maintains records of students' attendance, progress, attitude and accomplishments 
ī‚ˇ Instructs students in the use of tools of the trade, the proper care and use of materials, and safety precautions 
ī‚ˇ Instructs and evaluates students in such trade techniques as machine shop, welding, automobile body repair, electronics and electrical repair, blueprint reading, construction and environmental technology

Technician Gr 3/2/1– 06 Positions 
(i) Maintenance technicians will work independently and with other staff personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness in the Laboratories. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the Institution 
(ii) Qualification and experience 
(a) Essential- National Trade Certificate in the particular trade with three-year experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. 
OR 
National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade with one-year experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. 
OR 
An ITI Certificate in relevant Trade from recognized Government ITI. 
OR 
Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification 
(b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the candidates who are already working in the related trade(Welding/Automobile/Electrical/CNC/Air-condition & Refrigeration). 
(iii) Experience. One year of experience post qualification in relevant trade 
(iv) Scale of Pay Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent. The basic pay range is Rs 8,000/- to Rs 10,000/- with a gross of Rs 14,180/- at lower range of pay for Gr3 position. For Gr2 position, the basic pay range is Rs 6,500/- to Rs 8,000/- with a gross of Rs 11,521/- at lower range of pay. For Gr1 position, the basic pay range is Rs 5,700/- to Rs 7,000/- with a gross of Rs 10,103/- at lower range of pay 
(v) Upper age Limit- 30 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Maintain the uptime status of Lab equipments at all times. 
ī‚ˇ Maintain the stock of all assets in the Lab. 
ī‚ˇ Arrange for the repairs of electrical works, carpentry works, AC works for maintenance of centrally fitted accessories and equipments in the lab. 
ī‚ˇ Carry out periodic preventive maintenance activities on Lab Equipments to ensure satisfactory service. 
ī‚ˇ Assist in setting up laboratory experiments.

Admin cum Accounts Assistant - 03 Positions 
(i) The full‐time Administrative Assistant shall oversee and manage all office procedures and other tasks as assigned by the Director. The incumbent shall be overseeing general office activities, including the supervision of junior administrative staff. 
(ii) Qualification and experience 
(a) Essential- Should have at least second class bachelor's degree from recognized University. He must have a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting on manual / electronic typewriter and on computer with 40/35 w.p.m. respectively. 
(b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the persons from Accounts / Commerce background. 
(iii) Experience 
(a) Essential- 2 years working experience in an office/educational institution. Must have working experience on MS Office suite and very well versed with excel software. 
(iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent. The basic pay range is Rs 10,000/- to Rs 12,500/- with a gross of Rs 17,725/- at lower range of pay for Gr3 position. For Gr2 position, the basic pay range is Rs 9,000/- to Rs 12,000/- with a gross of Rs 15,953/- at lower range of pay. 
(v) Upper age Limit- 35 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 
(vi) Job Requirement 
ī‚ˇ Take dictation and typing on Manual, Electronic Typewriter and on Computer. 
ī‚ˇ Maintain files, records etc. as required with the department / centre / section manually as well as on Computer. 
ī‚ˇ Perform data entry operation on Computers. 
ī‚ˇ Assist Director / staff members and others in carrying out day-to-day function of the department / Centre / Section.

Front Office Executive -04 Positions 
(i) Front Office Executive (FOE) is first point of contact for prospective students, employers and the Technical Departments of the center and plays very critical role in attracting students and enrolling them for various training programs of the Institute. For this the incumbent candidate to well versed with Tele marketing for informing and attracting the prospective Students and also well versed with front office procedures by using latest tools such as MS office/Power Point etc. 
(ii) Qualification and experience 
(a) Essential- MBA or PG Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resource Practices. Bachelors Degree BBA / BCA / B.Sc etc in the above disciplines are acceptable in case of experienced and deserving candidates. 
(b) Desirable – Applicants with good communication skills and dynamic personality will be preferred 
(ii) Experience 
(a) Essential - 1 + years in positions such as PRO/Marketing in reputed public / private institutions and / or government organizations. Well versed with MS Office and other relevant software 
(b) Desirable – Applicants with more experience will be given priority.

  • 2. Recruitment/Nov 13 2 | P a g e Director – KGTTI - Mangalore / Hubli / Belgaum – 01 Each (i) The Director plays a crucial role in the KGMSDCs. The Director is primarily responsible for the successful planning and implementation of Training Courses in their respective Training Centers. He will lead a team of qualified faculties in executing day-to-day operations and functions of KGMSDC. The Director may be stationed at Mangalore / Belgaum / Hubli * to Head the KGTTI at respective locations. He should have a strong commitment to the project and is expected to have familiarity with Training Centers, vocational and technical training and passion for human resource development. He must have an outstanding performance record, management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently and must be results-oriented. (ii) Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline of Engineering with consistent Academic Record. (iii) Experience (a) Essential - 15 years experience in Educational Planning or Administration, Training etc. in Leading Industries or Central or State Government or University or other Institution of Higher Education or Autonomous Bodies or PSUs. Heads of Departments of Large / Medium Scale Industries with a flair for achievements in Education / Training / Human Resource Development are welcome to apply. (b) Desirable - Preference will be given to persons with proven record of achievements in industries and have experience at senior levels in production environment as well as training areas. (iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. Recruitment/Nov 13 3 | P a g e Faculty-Electrical /Electronics – Sr. Manager/Manager -01 Position (i) A Senior Manager/Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, leading and supervising respective training department at KGMSDC. The Manager is the immediate person the team looks up to. The ability to quickly grasp new ideas and concepts and incorporate them into institute’s daily work activities is required. Talents in communicating with a wide range of employees at different levels of authority are necessary. (ii) Qualification and experience (a) Essential - A Master’s Degree in any of the subjects of Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. OR A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the subjects of Electrical/Electronics or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade (iii) Experience (a) Essential- At least 10 years experience post Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 8 years experience post Master’s Degree in Engineering out of which at least three years in a position of independent responsibility or Manager or in similar capacity in a Private Industry or public / private organization involved in vocational/technical training/technical education fields in the area of Electrical/Electronics. (b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the persons with proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields. (iv) Scale of Pay – Salary will be at par with industry standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 30,000/- to Rs 45000/- with a gross of Rs 53,175/- at lower range of pay for Sr Manager Position. For Manager’s position basic pay range is Rs 28,000/- to Rs 34000/- with a gross of Rs 49,630/- at lower range of pay. (v) Upper age Limit- 45 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 (vi) Job Requirement ī‚ˇ Identify “core competencies” of workforce and conduct training as per quality standards. ī‚ˇ Identify the training needs of the work force under him and organize training. ī‚ˇ Design and develop training programs and update course curriculum to reflect the latest standards being followed in the Industry. ī‚ˇ Implement training programs ī‚ˇ Appraisal of training effectiveness ī‚ˇ Identify and implement career development for each employee ī‚ˇ Workforce competency appraisal ī‚ˇ Training Budget. ī‚ˇ Assist Director/Dy Director in organizing placements for the trainees by maintaining the close liaison with recruiters from the Industry. (vii) Type of Contract - The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years which can be extended in block of two years after satisfactory performance. The candidate will be offered the position of either Sr. Manager or Manager depending on the organizational needs and experience of the candidate. *Qualification requirement may be lowered for highly experienced candidates from Industries or Manufacturing plants or Production Floors.

(b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the candidates with Industry certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields/ production floors. Trade: Industrial Automation (ii) Qualification* (a) Essential - B.E / B Tech / Diploma or equivalent in ECE / Mechatronics/Automation/Mechanical/Electrical. (b) Desirable - candidates who are having in-depth knowledge in PLC/Industrial Hydraulics/Industrial Pneumatics with good communication skills. Faculty- Sr. Engineer - 07 Positions (i) The individual would be working closely with the Training Faculty and contribute significantly to the planning and execution of key training activities for the respective discipline / trade. He shall fall into the team of Core Faculties / Master Trainers. Besides the day-to-day operations like training, preparing training calendars, motivating students and trainers, the person will be expected to contribute significantly to planning and implementation of Quality Control processes.

(b) Desirable - Candidates who are having in-depth knowledge in Electrical Engineering particularly in Machine Maintenance, House wiring etc. with good communication skills. (iii) Experience (a) Essential - At least 3 years experience post qualification at an analogous position in any Industry or public / private limited organization based education institutions or in Industry as trainer. (b) Desirable - Preference will be given to Candidates who have worked for 3 to 4 years in similar capacity. Additional Certification from any renowned organisation or institution in the respective field will be plus point. Ability to communicate in Kannada will be an added advantage. (iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 15,000/- to Rs 20,000/- with a gross of Rs 26,588/- at lower range of pay for Sr. Engineer position. For Engineer’s position basic pay range is Rs 12,000/- to Rs 16000/- with a gross of Rs. 21,270/- at lower range of pay (v) Upper age Limit- 35 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed up to five years for deserving candidates (vi) Job Requirement ī‚ˇ Lead a team of qualified and experienced staff while meeting training deliverables in terms of numbers, timelines and quality. ī‚ˇ Interfacing with the internal and external Industry and Corporates’ to identify training needs. ī‚ˇ Interacting with internal and external experts from industries to discuss best practices, ways and means to improvise training methodologies. ī‚ˇ Monitor training effectiveness through regular feedbacks and performance scores. ī‚ˇ Identify and scheduling resources for training ī‚ˇ Maintenance of training calendars of respective training departments ī‚ˇ Impart training to trainers and students. (vii) Type of Contract The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years and can be extended in block of two years. The candidate can be offered the position of Sr. Engineer/Engineer depending on the organizational needs and experience of the candidate. *Qualification requirement may be lowered for highly experienced candidates from Industries or Manufacturing plants or Production Floors.

Trade: IT (ii) Qualification* and experience (a) Essential - B.E / B Tech or equivalent in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering (b) Desirable - Preference will be given to the candidates with IT certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields/ production floors. Trade: Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ii) Qualification* and experience (a) Essential - B.E / B Tech / M Tech or equivalent in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering. OR Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering with three year’s experience in the relevant field (b) Desirable - Preference will be given to the candidates with Industry certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields/ production floors. Faculty - Junior Engineer – 11 Positions (i) The individual would be working as the Training Faculty and contribute significantly to the planning and execution of key training activities for the respective trade. Besides the day-to-day operations like training, preparing training calendars, motivating students and trainers, the person will be expected to impart quality training to students and achieve exemplary results on students’ term end evaluations.

OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade with one -year experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. OR Diploma in Welding Technology / Mechanical / Automobile engineering from reputed institute. (b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the candidates with Industry certifications and undergone internationally recognized courses and having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields/ production floors. Trade: Industrial Automation (ii) Qualification* and experience (a) Essential - Engineering Graduate / Diploma in Electronics/Diploma in Mechatronics/Diploma in Automation or Equivalent (b) Desirable - Preference will be given to the candidates ī‚ˇ having 2 to 3 years of experience as Automation Engineer/ Trainer ī‚ˇ Certification from any renowned organization or institution will be a plus point ī‚ˇ Ability to communicate in Kannada will be an added advantage ī‚ˇ Having relevant proven track record of achievements in vocational/technical training/technical education fields.
  • 8. Recruitment/Nov 13 8 | P a g e Trade: Automobile (ii) Qualification* (a) Essential - Engineering Graduate / Diploma in Automobile Engineering or equivalent in Automobile Engineering. (b) Desirable - candidates having in-depth knowledge in Automobile Technology, latest trends in Automobile with good communication skill and dynamic personality (iii) Experience (a) Essential- At least 2 years’ experience post qualification at an analogous position in any Industry or public / private limited organization based education institutions or in Industry as trainer. (b) Desirable- Preference will be given to highly experienced candidates from Industries or Manufacturing plants or Training or Educational Institutions. Professional certifications from accredited organizations like AWS / IIW / WRI etc., in the case of Welding will be given due weightage. (iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent and is not a constraint for deserving candidates. The basic pay range is Rs 10,000/- to Rs 13,500/- with a gross of Rs 19,498/- at lower range of pay for Jr. Engineer position (v) Upper age Limit- 30 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013. Upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 years for deserving candidates (vi) Job Requirement ī‚ˇ Provides individual and group instruction by means of demonstrations, sketches, explanations and visual aids. ī‚ˇ Prepares lesson plans, determines instructional methods, and develops administers and grades evaluations in theory and practice of a trade ī‚ˇ Creates and maintains records of students' attendance, progress, attitude and accomplishments ī‚ˇ Instructs students in the use of tools of the trade, the proper care and use of materials, and safety precautions ī‚ˇ Instructs and evaluates students in such trade techniques as machine shop, welding, automobile body repair, electronics and electrical repair, blueprint reading, construction and environmental technology ī‚ˇ Schedules classes to conform to requirements for trade certificates ī‚ˇ Assists student in the selection of training courses, in matters of industrial practices and rules, and counsels students on academic problems ī‚ˇ Monitors student behavior ī‚ˇ Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work ī‚ˇ Performs related work as assigned (vii) Type of Contract The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years and can be extended in block of two years. *Qualification requirement may be compromised for highly experienced candidates from Industries or Manufacturing plants or Production Floors.

Recruitment/Nov 13 9 | P a g e Technician Gr 3/2/1– 06 Positions (i) Maintenance technicians will work independently and with other staff personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness in the Laboratories. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the Institution (ii) Qualification and experience (a) Essential- National Trade Certificate in the particular trade with three-year experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in the trade with one-year experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. OR An ITI Certificate in relevant Trade from recognized Government ITI. OR Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification (b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the candidates who are already working in the related trade(Welding/Automobile/Electrical/CNC/Air-condition & Refrigeration). (iii) Experience. One year of experience post qualification in relevant trade (iv) Scale of Pay Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent. The basic pay range is Rs 8,000/- to Rs 10,000/- with a gross of Rs 14,180/- at lower range of pay for Gr3 position. For Gr2 position, the basic pay range is Rs 6,500/- to Rs 8,000/- with a gross of Rs 11,521/- at lower range of pay. For Gr1 position, the basic pay range is Rs 5,700/- to Rs 7,000/- with a gross of Rs 10,103/- at lower range of pay (v) Upper age Limit- 30 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 (vi) Job Requirement ī‚ˇ Maintain the uptime status of Lab equipments at all times. ī‚ˇ Maintain the stock of all assets in the Lab. ī‚ˇ Arrange for the repairs of electrical works, carpentry works, AC works for maintenance of centrally fitted accessories and equipments in the lab. ī‚ˇ Carry out periodic preventive maintenance activities on Lab Equipments to ensure satisfactory service. ī‚ˇ Assist in setting up laboratory experiments. ī‚ˇ Any other work assigned by the Head of Department from time to time. ī‚ˇ Maintain Training Labs ī‚ˇ Assist faculty in executing practical (vii) Type of Contract - The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years and can be extended in block of two years.

Recruitment/Nov 13 10 | P a g e Admin cum Accounts Assistant - 03 Positions (i) The full‐time Administrative Assistant shall oversee and manage all office procedures and other tasks as assigned by the Director. The incumbent shall be overseeing general office activities, including the supervision of junior administrative staff. (ii) Qualification and experience (a) Essential- Should have at least second class bachelor's degree from recognized University. He must have a speed of 80 w.p.m. in English shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in English Typewriting on manual / electronic typewriter and on computer with 40/35 w.p.m. respectively. (b) Desirable- Preference will be given to the persons from Accounts / Commerce background. (iii) Experience (a) Essential- 2 years working experience in an office/educational institution. Must have working experience on MS Office suite and very well versed with excel software. (iv) Scale of Pay - Salary will be at par with Industry Standards so as to recognize and retain the best talent. The basic pay range is Rs 10,000/- to Rs 12,500/- with a gross of Rs 17,725/- at lower range of pay for Gr3 position. For Gr2 position, the basic pay range is Rs 9,000/- to Rs 12,000/- with a gross of Rs 15,953/- at lower range of pay. (v) Upper age Limit- 35 years, as on 1st Nov, 2013 (vi) Job Requirement ī‚ˇ Take dictation and typing on Manual, Electronic Typewriter and on Computer. ī‚ˇ Maintain files, records etc. as required with the department / centre / section manually as well as on Computer. ī‚ˇ Perform data entry operation on Computers. ī‚ˇ Assist Director / staff members and others in carrying out day-to-day function of the department / Centre / Section. ī‚ˇ Schedule meetings, conference calls, video conferences and preparation of materials for meetings. ī‚ˇ Management of correspondence, including institution of an appropriate filing and tracking system, maintenance of files etc (vii) Type of Contract - The incumbent will be under Full-Time contract initially for two years and can be extended in block of two years.

Recruitment/Nov 13 11 | P a g e Front Office Executive -04 Positions (i) Front Office Executive (FOE) is first point of contact for prospective students, employers and the Technical Departments of the center and plays very critical role in attracting students and enrolling them for various training programs of the Institute. For this the incumbent candidate to well versed with Tele marketing for informing and attracting the prospective Students and also well versed with front office procedures by using latest tools such as MS office/Power Point etc. (ii) Qualification and experience (a) Essential- MBA or PG Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Human Resource Practices. Bachelors Degree BBA / BCA / B.Sc etc in the above disciplines are acceptable in case of experienced and deserving candidates.
