2. • “SPIKE WARNER” is a tool to help the people
(particularly pedestrians) to cross their path as the vehicles
are parked over the limit (on the zebra cross).
• For pedestrians the application is accessed through the
transformers, relay switches, capacitors, resistors, sensors
and motors.
• When the signal turns red the spike which is grounded
automatically rises its level .

•The rise in the level of spike will be a warning to the
driver so that he/she stops the vehicle in the limit
specified.
•As a result the pedestrians can cross their way easily
without any trouble.
•In case if the vehicles try to cross the limit specified the
spike will puncture the tyres of the vehicle.

by the vehicles.
• Vehicles are parked on the zebra cross.
• We use spikes as a warning to the vehicles.
• Tyres are punctured if they cross their limit.

•Scope of the project is to change the Improper into
Proper with the help of Assistive Technology.
•Our implementation has a wide scope in the level
crossing where the pedestrians are taken care.

•Vehicles are parked on the zebra lines.

7. • Since vehicles are parked on the zebra cross it is
difficult for the pedestrians.
• There are chances for accidents.
• Congestion is the major issue.

• To keep spikes so that vehicles are parked on their limits.
• Car A stands in the actual limit.

9. • Warning is given to the drivers.
• Vehicles are parked on their limits.
• Else the tyre’s will be punctured.
• Pedestrians can cross their way without any trouble.

Hardware's:
•Capacitor
•Step down Transformer
•Motor
•Switch
•Resistor
•Transistor

•The 200v power supply is reduced to 20v using Step
down transformer.
•The power supply is stored using capacitor.
•Resistor is used to resist the flow of current when its
limit exceeds.
•The signal is sensed by the sensor and the relay
switch decides the operation.
•The operation may be Spike movement or Static
spike in its original state.

•The current application is developed for the pedestrians
and if the application is executed in an unmanned railway
gate, it will be more helpful.
•The future scope will also cover people who are suffering
in level crossing.

modules we can help the pedestrians and we can easily
reduce the congestion in traffic.
