development for various reputed organizations. The
honorarium earned by them to the tune of a massive
amount of Rs.76,500 /-.

Compuer Centre, A.L.N.Super Market, Messiah Overseas
Export/Import Agencies, Swamy Vivekananda Nursery
and Primary School, Fashion Cell Park, Ramkumar
Textiles, Lovely Garments, Sri Vasan Javuli Store etc.,

Mr.R.D.Sivakumar received the “Special Honour
Audio Book Award - 2016” by the Centre for
Technology Enhanced Learning (CTEL) for produced
more number of audio books in the Audio Book
Preparation.
Dr.Anant Achary, Principal, Kamaraj College of
Engineering & Technology, Virudhunagar presented a
Certificate and a Cash Award in a Teachers Day

29. ACADEMIC AUDIT MEETING
The Internal Quality and Assurance Cell of
ANJAC arranged the external audit on 4th
October,
2016, Tuesday for M.Com. (Computer Applications)
Department regarding the performance of the
Department in the academic year 2015-2016.
Dr.A.Mayil Murugan, Associate Professor and
Head, Department of Commerce, Madura College
(Autonomous), Madurai audited the M.Com. (CA)
Department.

31. GREEN MEASURES ADOPTED
• Banning of using Polythene bags are banned and
maintaining green ambience
• Printer cartridges refilled rather than buying new ones
• Hard copies are replaced by Soft copies at the maximum
• Students are encouraged to use Laptops instead of
Desktops
• Switching off monitors and printers when not used
• Sharing of Systems when the power is cut
• Making the students to switch off lights and fans when
they go out.

• Planned to publish more number of research papers
in reputed journals

33. M.Com. (CA) SYLLABUS REVISION
The salient features of the revision are
• To develop their Soft Skills and Spoken English
• Inter disciplinary elective papers offered jointly by two
departments.
• Permitting the Horizontal and vertical migration of
students in the selection of their elective papers.
• Incorporation of the Model Curricula prepared by the
UGC / Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher education
in the existing structure wherever possible.

1.17CR 101 – Higher Financial Accounting
The new unit titled branch and departmental
accounting is added. The new concepts like voyage
and farm accounting are added in miscellaneous
accounting.
2.17CR 102 – Business Environment
The new concepts like technological environment
is added in the unit V.

The new concepts like pointers and templates are
added.
4.17CR 206 – Corporate Accounting
Holding company accounts is replaced by the new
concept like miscellaneous accounting (Human
resource accounting, Inflation accounting, Factoring
accounting and Social accounting).
5. 17CR 207 – Advanced Business Statistics
Probability is replaced by the new concepts like
correlation and regression analysis. The new concepts
like non-parametric tests and types of non-parametric
tests are added.

System
The new concepts like relational data structure,
relational data integrity, codd’s rules, SQL operators,
aggregate function, join operation, views and indexes
are added.

The new concepts like Gopher, WAIS and cloud
computing are added. The new units titled HTML 5
elements and cascading style sheet, PHP and PHP
functions and database connectivity are added.
8. 17ER 203 – Green Marketing
The new concept like ecological environment is
added.

Instead of capital budgeting the new unit titled
lease financing and financial management in sick units
are added.
10.17CR 313 – Taxation Law and Practice
The new concepts like clubbing of incomes is
added. The new unit titled indirect taxes is added.

Instead of marginal costing, the new unit titled life
cycle and unit costing are added. The new unit titled
standard costing is added. The new concepts like target
costing, steps, process and merits are added.
