 Further revised in 2000 for TQM standards.

 In 1994 it was revised in as 3 quality system levels.
 The levels are:
1. Level1 is ISO 9001
2. Level2 is ISO 9002
3. Level3 is ISO 9003

should be according to customer requirement.
 Obtaining Customer Satisfaction by Reviews and Surveys.

 The Civil Engineering Department must ensure the formation
of Quality Policy as a formwork to department to launch the
Quality Objectives.
 Quality Policy should endorsed by the highest level of
management.
 Quality Policy has to include a commitment to comply with
requirements. This can be best achieved using words such as

 Quality Objectives should be appropriate with Quality Policy.
 The Quality Objectives can be analyzed during Management
Review to define the degree to which they are met.

 Ensuring that the requirements of the quality system has been
defined before the implementation of any modifications.
 No new method is implemented without first considering the
actions that have to be taken.

 All responsibilities and authorities of Civil Engineering
department should be organized. All staffs such as teachers,
administrators, maintenance staff, and computer operation
staff.
 Also CED are responsible for the Quality of Teaching and
Working in the Department.
 All of them are also responsible for identifying non-
conforming products.
 All teaching staffs have the responsibility to agree with the
documental procedures and the directions of management.

5. RESPONSIBILITY AUTHORITY AND COMMUNICATION
5.1. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
 Employing a member in Civil Engineering Department who is
irrespective of other duties in order to take the Responsibility
and Authority of establishing, implementing, and maintaining
the quality system and ensuring that it is remaining
resourceful as of ISO 9001.
 This member should be responsible for monitoring the
performance of quality system and reporting on it to executive
management.
 This member ensures that academic staffs are aware of the
importance of meeting customers’ (such as students)
requirements.
 If the member is absence the president(chairman) will
assume these responsibilities.

5. RESPONSIBILITY AUTHORITY AND COMMUNICATION
5.2. REPRESENTATIVE MANAGEMENT
 The effective of establishing internal communication in the
management system is to transmit information of products
and processes of Civil Engineering Department.
 The establishing of internal communications are addressed
during Management Review Meetings.

5.3. INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
 Civil Engineering department should organize Management
Review Meetings to ensure its ongoing and correctness in
sustaining the requirements of ISO 9001.
 It should satisfy our quality objectives and policy.
 Records established to provide evidence of conformity to
requirements.
 The meeting should be as frequently as necessary, at least
once a year.

6. MANAGEMENT REVIEW
6.1. GENERAL
 The staffs of Civil Engineering department should review the
results of internal audits during Management Review
Meetings.
 To ensure the performance and improvement, customer
feedback, procedure performance/trends.
 Also follow up actions from previous meetings.
 In addition, the Management Review Meetings should pay
attention to evaluate potential problems.

6.2. REVIEW INPUT
 The department of Civil Engineering should always include
some action items for monitoring the improvement of the
quality management system.
 The improvement should be according to customer
requirements.
 Identify the resources needed to ensure the continuing
satisfaction of our customers.

All staffs such as teachers, administrators, maintenance staff, and computer operation staff.  Also CED are responsible for the Quality of Teaching and Working in the Department.  All of them are also responsible for identifying non- conforming products.  All teaching staffs have the responsibility to agree with the documental procedures and the directions of management.   • 13.  Employing a member in Civil Engineering Department who is irrespective of other duties in order to take the Responsibility and Authority of establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality system and ensuring that it is remaining resourceful as of ISO 9001.  This member should be responsible for monitoring the performance of quality system and reporting on it to executive management.  This member ensures that academic staffs are aware of the importance of meeting customers’ (such as students) requirements.  If the member is absence the president(chairman) will assume these responsibilities.   • 14.  The effective of establishing internal communication in the management system is to transmit information of products and processes of Civil Engineering Department.  The establishing of internal communications are addressed during Management Review Meetings.   • 15.  Civil Engineering department should organize Management Review Meetings to ensure its ongoing and correctness in sustaining the requirements of ISO 9001.  It should satisfy our quality objectives and policy.  Records established to provide evidence of conformity to requirements.  The meeting should be as frequently as necessary, at least once a year.   • 16.  The staffs of Civil Engineering department should review the results of internal audits during Management Review Meetings.  To ensure the performance and improvement, customer feedback, procedure performance/trends.  Also follow up actions from previous meetings.  In addition, the Management Review Meetings should pay attention to evaluate potential problems.
