1. HOW DOES IT RELATE TO THE GENRE?
It relates to the Genre of the music by having images, fonts, and
names of songs that all relate to the genre.
On the front cover there are some people parting, and having a good
time, which is commonly shown in the type of music, and is what the
genre is used for, parties.
The typography also can relate to genre, as is it bold and stands out,
like the music, is it played loudly, so would make it noticeable, like
the font.
WHAT WORKS AND WHAT DOESN’T
What Works
.The colours go well together, do not clash
. The font stands out, bold, and catches the audience’s eye
. Easy to look at and read, not too much on the cover
What Doesn’t
.The image could be edited more professionally to make it look
better
. Font on the back cover could be more

2. Easy
. Creating the layout of the front and back
. Creating the font, and editing it
. The colours on front and back
Hard
. Editing the main image on the front was hard, trying to cut out each
person
. Thinking of the song names
WHAT I’V LEARNT
I have learnt throughout creating my CD front and back cover, is a lot
of advanced techniques and ways of using Photoshop, it will help me
for future projects using this programme.
WHAT I WOULD CHANGE
The things that I would change would be the main image on the front
cover. I would maybe have it with a single person/artist, instead of a
group, of people, and maybe this person doing a pose, relevant to
the genre of music of course.
