Discovery clearly is the central piece of the next generation library, open and user centered. As electronic takes precedence over print resources, ILS and in general back end systems loose their space to those services that facilitate the task of providing the most relevant information for all type of users. The back end systems then are integrated with the discovery service. For this reason in our SaaS strategy, Discovery is the most critical component and the services that takes the large majority of our development efforts and resources.
