In May 2013 , I left Hewitt as I got Married in Panipat . In 2014 , I shifted to Gurgaon and applied to

website named as Your Benefit Resource to there each client.
1)
Title: Your Benefit Resources (YBR)
Client : YBR is a Hewitt Associates (Lincolnshire, USA) owned portal which is being used by 250 odd
clients across the globe.

3. Role: Senior Software Engineer
YBR is a J2EE based web application. While it generates straight forward HTML to a user’s browser,
underneath it is a complex application using sophisticated technology. YBR, for the purposes of the
discussion to follow, should be thought of as a server based application, which interacts with a user via
a standard user interface, which would be “the browser”.
Hewitt has a product name TBA (Total Benefits Administration), which manages their 250 odd clients
Benefits, of which there are 3 interfaces to access, Web is one of them. YBR is a web interface to the
TBA which helps a client to publish their benefits offering to their employees, who can manage these
benefits on their own.
Team Size and My Contribution: Team consists of 12 people. As a Sr. Software Engineer, my primary
responsibilities include Analyzing Client requirements, assessing risks and preparing/maintaining the
robust artifacts for implementations; meeting objectives of offshore onshore delivery model.
Ensuring Module delivery in conformance with defined standards and the process being followed.
Performing Unit Testing of the assigned module. Responsible for analyzing, developing and managing
the application code for TBA internet/intranet applications. Manage and migrate application source code
utilizing predefined tools and procedures. Conduct thorough unit tests. Work with Programmer Analyst,
Quality Assurance Analyst(s), and Systems Analyst(s) within Products & Services to ensure developed
functionality meets business needs and is production ready. Provide detailed comprehensive
documentation.
Provide Functional training and knowledge of US Benefits Domains (DC – Defined Contributions and DB
– Defined Benefits) to new associates.
2)
Title : CDR Upgrade
Client : DELL, HA-Internal and Many Others across CDG
Role : Senior Software Engineer
Description :
In this project we upgrad the version of website. In this we update the upgrades made till now in DELL’s
enrolled plans. We customize the website by adding links.
Contribution:
As Sr. Software Engineer, was responsible for upgrading all the previous links from old CDR to new CDR,
testing the website on new CDR in full volume and Supporting all the page and links according to new
CDR. This involves identifying the best solution for any page or link failure and implementing it.
A project for overhauling the website architecture, converting the existing YBR 4x site to YBR 5x or
implementing YBR 5x from scratch for clients across CDGs including Lincolnshire, Woodlands;
Connecticut. The project comprises of system analysis, functionality implementations, bug fixing,
branding and customizations.

doing customization in the developed tool and its technical maintenance, its CDR version upgrade. It
also included small and complex debugging and process compliance using MRP(Micro request process)
and SRP(Small Request Process). Giving training onshore and offshore, both within the team and
outside the team as well.
