MSS-iSMS
Project Description: iSMS is PMI's International Sales and Merchandising System of
PMI (Philip Morris International). This is a Windows application developed using
Microsoft .Net (version varies across markets).The application is used to record and
analyse day to day sales and merchandising activities of different regions/markets
where PMI has its business.

2. Contribution: Developed new modules according to new requirements from markets
where iSMS will be implemented and modifying iSMS modules in existing markets.
Developed a new functionality DDF (Digital Document Flow) for iSMS Benelux market.
Taking client call and resolve the post production issues and new requirements.
Currently working as a regional service manager managing the overall run and support
managed service for APAC and EMEA cluster located in Jakarta. The job role involves
• Managing day to day coordination, cluster health check, attending concerns for
the overall service issues across all affiliates for the application support(almost
20 affiliates)
• Managing Delivery schedules and coordination of delivery across different
teams
• Managing cross vendor collaboration
• Managing high escalation in a timely manner

Worked as a module lead and Functional Expert for managing the application for 4
Latin American Markets. Also implemented direct sales module in one of the market
(Brazil). The project is now in Production and fully functional.
Worked as a regional service manager managing the coordination between the
offshore team and the Latin American affiliates for Philip Morris International Located
in Buenos Aires. Managing the clarifications and deliverables and co ordinations during
different phases of delivery and also organizing the meetings and clarifications
between the affiliates and the development team.
Worked in an integration project with iPAD system which involved IBM, PMI and
another external service provider. For this project managed the integration between
the different service providers and affiliates for successful transmission and roll out.
Worked as a functional consultant participating in fit gap discussions and workshops to
introduce the service of iSMS in new affiliates in order to inherit automation in their
sales and distribution domain.

Using Omnibus, Integration Bus for IT™, Quality Center, and the test management
tool from HP / Mercury is integrated with Kovair Global Lifecycle. The Web service
based adapter exposes various built-in Quality Center objects including Requirements,
Test cases and Defects. The Adapter does not hard-code any business rule but Kovair
Global Lifecycle’s configuration allows implementation of integration business rules
without a single line of coding. The business rules include automatic complete two-way
synchronization between Quality Center and Kovair Global Lifecycle.

When Requirements or other Entities already exist in a Microsoft Word document,
Kovair Global Lifecycle’s Word Import Add-on helps in extracting the items from the
documents and import to Kovair Global Lifecycle automatically. Due the unstructured
nature of the items in a document Kovair Global Lifecycle offers various parsing
strategies to the users. From within Word, a wizard based user interface guides the
users in defining different strategies, even multiple strategies in the same document.
While importing, the rich text of each item is preserved and Kovair Global Lifecycle’s
rich text editor allows these rich text items to be viewed and edited.

Kovair Global Lifecycle/RM includes a powerful Decision Support System which
facilitates better planning using what-if-analysis. For example, to plan a Release, a
large number of Requirements are ranked collaboratively, and then different
constraints are set in the tool, such as availability of resource types, schedule etc.
Requirements are then distributed into a number of release buckets, either
automatically, or reassigned manually using drag-and-drop until you reach an optimal
result.
