portability.

4. Composition of general hand sanitizer
INGREDIENTS
● Isopropyl alcohol (60-90%)
● Hydrogen peroxide
● Glycerol
● Purified water
5. Role of (60-80%) Alcohol in Hand sanitizer
● It makes the bacteria weak from it's outer lipid covering.
● It denatured the protein and blast it from inside.
● It can easily coagulate the protein links and deactivate the germ.
6. HYDROGEN PEROXIDE
● It is used as a mild disinfectant in the hand sanitizer
to provide overall protection from pathogens.
7. GLYCEROL
● It is used as a moisturizing agent to avoid dry skin from
high percentage of alcohol content in hand sanitizer
8. Purified water
● It is used ro dilute the alcohol.
● It is used as a catalyst to denature the protein.
