1. My Job search process
I am constantly on the search for an
alternative job to sustain me until I get my
photography career established.
I am proactive. Get up early, stick to a
daily routine schedule during business
hours , browse the job websites, narrow
down the list, write the application and
cover letter , check email for updates and
responses. I am consistent and regular
with my efforts
I stay focused and positive. Above all it is
necessary to be patient in the present
economic climate. I don’t get discouraged
by rejection I focus my time and effort on
positive leads.
I am adaptable, and realistic, and willing to
take part-time or casual work. It may be a
springboard to learn more skills. You
never know what will open doors for you
later on.
2. I do my research on employers, it enables
me to tailor my CV and cover letter.
I stay positive and look after myself and
stay fit and healthy

of commence
Registered at newkiwis.co.nz(a job site for
new migrants), they offer great online
training courses on how to job search in
NZ.
Attend workshops at Auckland University,
sharing and discussing employment
situation for migrants. last attended on
March, 28.
I sign up on big companies’ websites and
check for updates and job alert.
I use recruiting agency for job alerts,
updates and online resources,
