• Tumors
• Cancer
• Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)
7. Causes

caused by exposure to harmful
radiation, hazardous chemicals,
pollution, cigarette smoking, and
drugs.
• Sexually transmitted diseases, such
as gonorrhea and syphilis, are
contagious.

9. Tips on keeping a healthy body:
• Eat less fat. Fats are found in red
meat, butter, oils, and ice cream.
• Eat more foods high in fiber.
Unpeeled fruits and vegetables and
whole grain cereals have a lot of fiber.
• Get more of vitamins A and C. Yellow
fruits and green vegetables contain
these vitamins. Milk, liver, and egg
yolks are also good sources.
10. Tips on keeping a healthy body:
• Eat vegetables in the cabbage family.
These include broccoli, cabbage,
cauliflower, and brussels sprouts.
• Limit alcohol intake. Drinking beer,
wine, and liquor can wear down the
body’s defenses.
• Eat less-preserved foods. Fresh
meats and fish are healthier than
smoked and chemical-treated foods.
11. Tips on keeping a healthy body:
• Do not overeat. Staying at your ideal
weight helps you stay healthy.
Some experts think that people who
follow an anticancer diet has lesser
chances of getting the disease.
Scientists hope to learn more about
how diet affects cancer. Someday, it
may be possible to tell what kind of
cancer is likely to strike a certain
person.
