Had lunch and discussed facilitator
duties and what Sober Living America
is and what they do. Explained his life
story and why he decided to start the
company.
11/13/11 Activity:
7:00-11:00 p.m. Started research on Sober Living
America
Commentary:
Researched what types of activities the
clients of Sober Living America do
while they are in recovery. Also,
looked up how long where some
residents are and the average length
residents stay there.
11/14/11
Activity:
6:00-10:00 p.m.
Started research on Drugs and Alcohol
Commentary:
Researched about the affects of drug
and Alcohol abuse. Learned what the
symptoms and signs are to tell when
people have a problem.

2. 11/15/11 Activity:
6:30-8:30 p.m. PTA meeting at Macedonia
Commentary:
Spoke with co-vice presidents of
Macedonia that put together a fund
raiser to see what all is involved when
setting it up.
1/7/12 Activity:
2:00-4:00 p.m. Met and had lunch with facilitator
again
Commentary:
Learned that Sober Living America
was struggling financially and
suggested collecting consumable items
to help them out. This would cost the
least and help them from going
bankrupt and having to shut down.
2/29/12 Activity:
11:30-12:30 Met with Dr. Eddy
Commentary:
Asked permission to do a fund drive
through the school and advertise
inside the school and put a bin in the
front office for students to drop items
off.
