The author proposes distributing their teen media title "The Run" through the British Film Institute (BFI) distribution company. BFI specializes in films targeted at teenagers and urban adults, matching the intended audience for "The Run." They would release the title digitally and theatrically, allowing it to quickly reach its target demographic. While the author's production company for "The Run," Group 16 Studios, is fictional, BFI would provide a real platform to market and advertise the title, increasing its popularity and potential for audiences to see it.

BFI Distribution for 'The Run' Title Sequence
1. B Y S E R G E B E L O V
WHAT KIND OF INSTITUTION
WOULD DISTRIBUTE YOUR MEDIA
PRODUCT AND WHY?
2. TEEN TITLES.
• In our teen title we created a production company
called LoLo Productions and a distribution company
that was called “Group 16 Studio”.
• This is a very small production and distribution
company since we made them up at college, and
a company that may distribute would be the BFI
distribution company, a real media text for an
example would be the film, Honeytrap.
3. WHO WOULD DISTRIBUTE YOUR TITLE
SEQUENCE?
• BFI would be a perfect distributor for our title
sequence because they distribute many title
sequences such as Honeytrap, which has the same
target audience as us. Which are teenagers and
urban adults and we would release it digitally and
theatrically. They would reach our target audience
faster since this is a well known company and
teenagers do watch films that are distributed by the
company because of this it would be wise in were
distributed by BFI films
4. • The impact that the title sequence has had on the
production is very little because of the made up
distribution company “Group 16 Studios”. This
meant that there wasn’t a lot of production people
that helped make the title sequence and also since
we only had 4 people in the production and post
production stage, there wasn’t a lot of titles we
could have produced, so we made fake names to
fit into the titles. If we didn’t do that there wouldn’t
be enough titles to go into the title sequence.
However we did credit real people for taking part in
the film. Which is all of us in the group.
WHAT IMPACT DID THE PRODUCTION
HAVE ON THE TITLES?
5. COMPARISON TO REAL MEDIA TEXT
As you can see from the two pictures, they are very
similar in terms of font and style. They both youth
problems, our title sequence show a kid packing his bag
to run away and in the movie My Brother The Devil it shows
gang violence. This shows that the BFI would be a perfect
distribution company for “The Run”. It would attract our target
audience and this title sequence would become more popular
and people would go and see it because of the companies
advertisement and our own advertisement such as Facebook,
twitter and Instagram.
