Topic: Some statistical models in the study of Diabetic Retinopathy

1. I have recently completed my PhD in Statistics (Branch: Biostatistics) at Bharathiar University in
South India on some statistical models in the study of Diabetic Retinopathy, focussing on the
influencing factors, probability of the development of DR, development of DR over a period of
time and the transition changes from one stage to another stage of DR affected by Diabetes
Mellitus in adult population in Pondicherry, South India. I also concurrently worked with many
Doctors (in all specialities), Pharmacy, Nursing, Dentist, Cardiologist, Neurologist, DNB
graduates, Arts and Science students. Previously, I did my undergraduate degree in Statistics in
P.S.G Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, South India, Post Graduate in Statistics in
Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, South India, M.Phil in Statistics (Splzn:
Biostatistics) in Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, South India, Post Graduate
Diploma in Biostatistics in Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu. I have
published 35 papers in National and International indexed journals. I have attended many
National and International Conferences in India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
