This document discusses the planning process for a music video compared to a thriller filmed last year. The planning for the music video was more detailed, precise and realistic than last year's experience. Ideas were not as extravagant and storyboards and locations were more defined. Researching other music videos helped generate initial ideas that eventually led to a full sequence. Overall, the planning process was more concise and easier because of lessons learned from the prior project.

2. • There have been a lot of differences with
planning this Music Video than to planning
the opening to a thriller last year. But last
years experience was much needed, I took on
a lot from last year in regards to planning and
knew the errors that happened shouldn't be
repeated.

3. This time - for the Music Video the planning
was done much more detailed and precise. We
knew exactly what we wanted and how it
should look. Story boards and locations were
more on point. Ideas weren't
so extravagant and more realistic. We knew
what we were taking on board also. I think
looking into other music videos and types of
them really helped because it gave us
a focal point of how to get started, from that we
started to get ideas and slowly we had a whole
sequence in mind.

4. • This time, I have tried my best to keep up with
blogging and add in extra bits here and there.
• Almost all of our plans/ideas are blogged so
having a look back on it helps us decide what
is best.
• All in all, this time the planning has altogether
just been more concise and easier because
I’ve been through it before.
