Album cover
The genre of Jessie J is pop and little rock,
you can see this within the images because
of the bold dark, shady colour scheme used
for all aspects of the music video, also album
covers and adverts. The colours work well
together because the writing stands out and
catches the audiences eye due to the bold
gold standing on top of the black . The artist
has taken up most of the front cover which is
the main subject as focus of the album and
advert. This is because Jessie J is the main
selling point for the features as it is her that
you are wanting to stand out to the
audience. The target audience for this CD
digipack is the stereotypical female, rebel
teenage years, this relates back to the dark
colours which may mean mysterious and also
hidden personality. On the digipack advert
the name of the album is around 3 quarters
of the page down this makes the artists close
up shot of her face stand out more and also
shows her feelings and emotion within the
facial expressions. A website link also used for
further information could be encouraging for
the audience which may be interested in
wanting to listen to the album.
3. Lawson a British pop rock brand from
London. The link between all these images
are the colour schemes this is a bright fresh,
but dusty feel to the images. The artists may
come across indie so therefore this may
mean that the audiences for this male group
will be young teenage girls or males but also
other older audiences aswell due to the
mature feel of the cover and advert it gives
off. The advert of the album cover has two
main focus’s to the page and these are the
dark, large title and also the main image
which takes up all of the page. By having
two main features of the advert it
encourages the reader to want to read other
parts of the advertisement which could be
encouraging to read. Where as the title on
the album cover is being shown at the
bottom of the cover, where the main image
takes up the front cover but the artists are the
main focus and subject of the Digipack.
Although all the colour contrast from the
advert and digipack the similar colours are
being shown throughout the music video
also. This is creating good synergy for all
features of the digipack.
