Becoming an "Intrapreneur" - Jeff Bowling

Editor's Notes

  • #2 Becoming an “Intrapreneur” Day and Time: Friday, June 9th | 10:30 AM - 11:15 AM Location: Back Bay C Jeff Bowling, the Chairman and former CEO of Delta Companies, understands corporate culture the way few others do. Turning The Delta Companies into a staffing powerhouse over his tenure leading the company, Jeff is committed not just to driving a profitable business, but also to creating an environment driven by mission, purpose, and respect for employees. Jeff will discuss what it takes to become an “intrapreneur” – not someone focused on growth at all costs, but a leader guided by doing right by a company, its employees, its customers, and its stakeholders.
  • #5 Elaborate on this for alignment; the front line leader gets the priority here
  • #8 Not being yourself is exhausting. A group being something they are not is not going to work either. You have to let all the ingredients matter.
  • #33 People are mostly good. Never let the 10% that are going through something in life that prevents them from being good in the moment, callous you to doing right by and focusing on the good people. Never make a policy, rule or the alike, based on the stupid actions (actions not to be confused with people)of the vast minority. Therefore the leader that can get the most out of those that don’t fit, WIN.
