2. Public places
■ One of the main things that I will need to consider when filming my trailer as well as
taking the images for my ancillary tasks where I decide to film. This is because there is
certain regulations about filming in public places including which include people giving
consent for them to be filmed as well as getting permission to film on land that
doesn’t belong to us.
■ The main way that I am intending to limit the problem this may cause is by filming
mostly away from public places of example within my house and when I do need to
film in public places schedule it at times that wont be two busy so wont have to refilm
bits where people who haven’t consented have been accidentally featured.
3. Copyright
■ Another regulation that could have been a problem for my production is copyright.
■ Copyright is that rights that someone (normally the creator) has to a certain piece of
print, musical, film or literature enabling only them to use it without their permission
which is normally paid for by other who intend to use it.
■ Within my production I think that the main way that I would come into contact with
copyright would be for the music that I used for my trailer.
■ Because of this I have decided that for all the music that I use in my trailer I use the
website freesound, which is a website which has only copyright free music to collect it
and put it together in a combination of garageband and final cut to put the clips
together.
4. Age rating
■ Another regulation that I will need to consider is what the implication of the age rating
I have chosen will be on what I including my final piece
■ This is because there are regulation and guidelines set by the BBFC, which regulates
film in the UK about what can be included in a film with a certain age certificate.
Because of this I have looked at what things I could include in my trailer and what
would be seen as not fit for the age certificate I have chosen, in order to stick to
regulations.
■ One way I have done this is by looking at what the BBFC’s guidelines are for a 15
certificate and what part I want to include may not be suitable.
5. Things I may not be able to include for
my trailer to be rated 15
■ Because I have chosen this age certificate I have decided that I should lists one of the
potential problem I could encounter and what I may not be able to include.
■ Any use of discriminatory language
■ Anything that could promote, glamourize or encourage the misuse of drugs
■ Use of very strong language
■ No sustain threat which focuses on sadistic or sexual themes
■ Violence which dwells the infliction of pain and injury.
