Coronado was born at Sabmanca, Spain. He was born in 1510 and
also he died in 1554.

Corondo and his wife had eight children. At the age of twenty five,
he sailed to the new world and the settled in Mexico city.
They got married and started a family and also was appointed in
1538 as Governor of the Province of Nueva he also discovered the
SouthWestern part of the United States, including the Grand
Canyon. He also left his home because his parents promised the
family fortune to his older brother. Also he died soon after in 1552.

Did you know that Coronado went as far as present day Kansas
searching for the seven cities of Gold.
He never found the golden cities. After failing in Kansas he had
his Indian slave killed who told him to go there.
He mistreated Indians.

He was a conquistador and if he never found the seven cities of
gold but he explored much of the Southwestern part of what is today
the United States.
