Description:
IPS (Integrated Production Support) is one of department or IT division in Capital One that
handles production support for various suits of applications. The Capital One Data Distribution
Environment such as Abinitio, Teradata, Unix file system, and SQL Server are the important
Decision Support Systems and are integral part of the Business Intelligence environment in
Capital One. Basically, we are the sole owners for application -Incident and Request
management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Incident resolutions and bug fixing within the SLA norm.
• Analysis on the reoccurring issues, troubleshoot them and maintain the Known root cause
in KDB.
• Interact with the clients and responds to Business queries with the aid of reporting tools.
• Monitor the Batch Jobs associated with the Unix Applications and troubleshoot the
issues.
