3. Scenario
In a deregulated scenario there are many market players(service
providers)
So a Distributor is responsible for the supplying of electricity to
the customer using grids. He is also responsible for getting
periodic meter readings and them sending the readings to the
supplier for billing the customer.
A supplier is billing the customer on the basis of the readings he
is getting from the distributor. So the point of communication for
the customer is the Supplier. The Distributor gets his dues from
the Supplier.
Now if there is a master data change (BP ,CA ,Conn Obj ,Premise
Add, PoD) then it should be reflected in both the distributors and
the suppliers system.
For this replication data exchange processes need to be
configured.

4. Important Points
The 2 data exchange processes used are CHCD_OUT and
REQ_CHANGE.
CHCD_OUT is for outbound document processing and
REQ_CHANGE is for inbound document processing.
There are event type depending on the master data which can be
seen while configuring the data exchange process.
Outgoing processed have the prefix CH incoming have the prefix
RQ.
Documents are send in standard Idocs in UTILIMD format.
The BAdI implementation CL_IDX_IM_ISU_IDE_DATECONNECT
provides special checks that suppresses a data exchange task if data
has changed that is not relevant for the data exchange. Make sure
its active otherwise data exchange tasks will get triggered on any
change.
