Understanding SNAP Exam Eligibility Criteria
SNAP eligibility criteria for the different B-Schools under Symbiosis are different. They are mentioned below-
Name of the Institute Eligibility Criteria
SCMHRD, SIBM Hyderabad, SIBM NOIDA,
SIBM – Pune, SICSR, SIIB,SIDTM, SIMC, SCIT,
SIHS, SSBF, SSSS, SIBM Bengaluru, SIBM
Nagpur, SIOM Nashik
Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised
University/ Candidate should be a graduate from any
recognised University/ Institution of National
Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50%
marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent
grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at
graduation.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can
also apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
(45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/
Scheduled Tribes).
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SCMHRD
a. Graduate in any Engineering Stream (B.E. or B.Tech), or Bachelor
of Architecture (B.Arch), or Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan.) from any
recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a
minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade, 45% marks or
equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST)
candidates].
OR
b. Bachelor degree from non-engineering branches from any
recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a
minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade, 45% marks or
equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST)
candidates] along with a minimum of 12 months’ work experience
in sectors namely infrastructure, infrastructure consultancy, energy,
real estate, logistics, supply chain and any other infrastructure allied
industry.
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any
Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from
Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of
National Importance and must have obtained a
minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks
or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled
Tribes) at graduation and minimum two years full time
work experience after completion of graduation.
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SIIB
Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised
University/ Candidate should be a graduate from any
recognised University/ Institution of National
Importance and must have obtained a minimum of 50%
marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent
grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at
graduation.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can
also apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
(45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/
Scheduled Tribes).
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
Candidate should be Bachelor of Engineering/
Technology/ Architecture/ Bachelor of Science
(Environmental Science) from any recognised University/
Institution of National Importance and must have
obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
(45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/
Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can
also apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
in the qualifying examination.

SIMS
Candidate should be a graduate from any recognised
University/ Institution of National Importance and must
have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent
grade at graduation.
Defence Category candidates should be son/
daughter/spouse of Defence personnel.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can
also apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
in the qualifying examination.
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SIOM, Nashik
Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor
of Engineering/ Technology) from any recognised
University/ Institution of National Importance and must
have obtained a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent
grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled
Castes/ Scheduled Tribes) at graduation.
Candidates appearing for final year examinations can
also apply, but their admission will be subject to
obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
in the qualifying examination.
A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification
from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence
certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SCIT
Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of
National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks
or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for
Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade
in the qualifying examination.

SNAP Syllabus 2023: What to Expect?
The SNAP Syllabus 2023 is designed to assess a candidate's aptitude in various areas. It includes three
sections:

Important SNAP Exam Details

computer screen.
2. Duration: The SNAP Exam 2023 is a one-hour test. Time management is critical to ensure you

3. Test Cities: SNAP is conducted in 94 cities across India, providing candidates with widespread
access.
4. Multiple Attempts: Unlike some other MBA entrance exams, SNAP offers candidates the
opportunity to take the test three times in the same academic year.
5. Selection Process: The final selection for admission is based on both the SNAP test score and
the Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interview (PI), and Writing Ability Test (WAT) conducted by
individual Symbiosis institutes.
