Methodology
Survey was conducted in a systematic manner in
banana growing area. 20 orchards was covered and
incidence of disease was recorded to identify the major
disease problems. Change in disease incidence pattern
was also studied and reported from tissue culture and
sucker grown plants separately. The survey was
conducted for a minimum of three times preferably in
February-March, July-August and October-November.
Focus on emerging disease problems besides changes
in existing disease scenario.
