2. Part one of the welcome Invercargill will have bag pipes playing the national anthem of Scotland (the flower of Scotland) with a massive parade down our main street as they arrive.
3. Part two of the welcome Invercargill will have children holding up massive posters down the main street with many photos of the 10 best things to do in Invercargill. Celebrating what a great place Invercargill is.
4. Part three of the welcome A special tour in the afternoon has been organised for the Scottish team, showing off our most famous attractions. Firstly who can forget the most famous man “Burt Munroe” The fastest Indian A visit to the Southland Art and Museum gallery Nugget point, to check out the sea lions, elephant seals , penguins , finishing off with a Hangi on the beach.
5. Part four of the welcome Invercargill will show the team an 111 year old tuatara Henry on the tour.
6. Part five of the welcome They will be given a goody bag containing DVD Fastest Indian Chocolates from “The seriously good chocolate factory” A booklet specially made for the Scottish team , showing all the amazing places to see not only in Invercargill but all NZ
