 Calendar: Events for the course and
personal ones.
 Announcements: class updates,
reminders, and supplemental materials.

 Blog: It’s a personal journal. You can write
articles and comment on other people’s
postings.
 Chat: You can chat with your classmates if they
are on-line.
 Voice Tools: You can record your voice.
 Forum: You can participate in a discussion.

8. When you’re working, you can HIDE the
dashboard . You will have more space on the
screen.

9. At certain points your browser may freeze and
you cannot load content. For example, you may
click on an activity and nothing happens. To fix
this, simply click “Save and Close” and go back
into the content. This happens more in Internet
Explorer.

any mistakes. If so, you can correct your
mistakes. If there are no mistakes, the
computer will automatically send your
answers.
 Submit: This option is used to send your
answers. If you have mistakes, you need to
click on start again”

progress?
1. Go to the course
home

21. 3. Go to MY PROGRESS and click on
BS5(71)

22. You can find all the activities
you have done, score and
progress.

23. You can click on the lesson to
see detailed information…

24. You will see two percentages,
the first one is the score and
the second is your progress.
If you complete all the
activities, you will get 100% in
progress. However, you might
get a lower percentage in
score if you made any
mistakes.

25. TIP…
 Be careful with punctuation, especially
the use of the apostrophe.
 The key for the apostrophe is different
from the key for the Spanish accent
I´m = Not correct (Spanish Accent)
I’m= Correct (Apostrophe)

26.  You need to get 100% in Progress. That
means that you have to complete all the
activities in the workbook.
 If there’s something you don’t understand.
Remember that you can click on “HINT” for
an example, or “HELP” for information
about the topic.
