declining in opportunities for our youth,
and changing graduating rates, and
other threats require us all to begin
working together to reach common
goals and solutions. NOW is the time for

5. Environmental Scan
 In the granite station community
particularly the Newtown
neighborhood the Newtown
elementary school has become an
effect for our youth in many ways. This
community has an abandon building
and it has become an “eye sore”. This
can effect our youth because they
can start vandalizing this particular
building which attracts negative
behavior.

 Survey the needs of youth(students) in community
through community partnership. Survey, collect data,
and implement tactic to combat the issues of that
community.
