Question One: Are you male or female? I decided to use 10 males and 10 females, as this would give me a fair view of a target audience.
Question Two: How old are you? I decided that using the same amount of participants for each age I would get a real feel for a target audience. However, it can be problematic because I can not really choose a target age from my research.
Question Three: What type of music do you like? From this question, it is clear to see that my main audience would be interested in Indie music. Therefore I will incorporate this into my magazine. This has made me think of a NME/Q style of magazine.
Question Four: Which music magazines are you more likely to purchase? This question shows me that my main audience would be interested in NME style magazine. The previous questions show me that my audience would like me to include indie artists in the magazine.
Question Five: Would you be more likely to buy a music magazine if it featured established artists or unsigned artists? This question shows me that the majority of my audience are interested in established audiences.
Question Six: Why do you buy magazines? This question shows me that the main part of my target audience would like to read articles about new artists. This means that I will do more writing then pictures on my double page spread.
