2. Information that is shown is the production
company, director, title of film, the main
actors name and the secondary actors names.
The text style is bright and shows links to
how the narrative is fun and light. This links
to the audience of this film being young.
The Text is faded in and out when shown for
4/5 seconds. As the text is being shown the
narrative is being built up.
Its like making the viewer multitask, they are
showing the people involved and also showing
the beginning of the story.
Dark blue text with bold
outlines for contrast on the
background.
3. Information that is shown: director of
photography, casting, costume
designer, writer, director, production
designer, executive producer, co-
starting, editor and producer.
This follows the common used order of
which text is shown. Production
company first then director then
primary actor after that is the title.
Then continues onto these kind of roles
shown (producer, editor, casting etc.).
Narrative continues while listing the
people involved.
4. This newer (2010) film production has shown the people involved
different from the way (1986) Ferris Bueller Day Off showed
people involved. This is because some of the newer films seem to
show less of the people involved into the making of the film at the
start and just show all involved at the end credits.
The text that is shown is a white bold text that stands out. This is
important as the way that they have shown the text is unlike any
other films they have people walking around being followed by
the camera and as they are walking through the setting (school
area) the text is shown on the floor or on the walls.
The text then moves out of the shot when the camera continues
moving though the setting, leading onto the next bit of text being
shown. Towards the end the main character is shown being
barged and when the camera shot moves to the main character
picking up her papers it shows the main actors name (Emma
Stone).
The light white text shows not much link to the narrative and is
used to contrast the background of the shot.
5. This more modern (2007) film production follows the original order that
the text is shown in film productions. Starts with the film production
company moves onto distribution company, then director, after shows
the title. This is the traditional order of which films show their text. More
text is shown after the title: main actors name, secondary actors and
casting.
The text is very carton like this is because of the background everything
is cartoon with the main actor walking around. The text is different
bright colours, for example orange, green, blue and yellow. This makes a
strong link to the narrative being light and young.
The text is big and bold on the screen, this makes it clearly visible and
current. Unlike Ferris Bueller’s Day Off not much of the narrative of the
story is being shown while the text is.
6. The text continues to list those involved: Editor, Director,
Music, Songs, Costume Designer, Music Supervisors,
Production Designer, Co-Producers, Producers, Executive
Producers and Director of Photography.
As the main actor moves in the background some of the
narrative is being revealed while the job roles are listed.
The job roles and names or different colours, this is to
make the text stand out and visible.
