1. What have you learnt
about technologies
from the process of
constructing this
product
2. Adobe Premier Pro
For my editing software for my film I decided to use Premier Pro
as the features and abilities that it offered were far superior to
that of other editing software I had access to. Also it is
considered an industry standard meaning I have access to
software which is used by film production companies. Premier
Pro also allowed me to incorporate transitions and music based
effects so I could produce a high quality film opening. I used
track overlaying so that I could put multiple layers of words over
my scenes and then include a variety of sounds to add scores
and background noises.
3. Filming equipment
For my equipment I used two casio cameras as they would
provide high definition videos and photos. This was suitable to
gain a clear image in all of my shots. I also used two tri-pods to
situate my cameras on them and gain stable shots which could
then also be attached to my running track so I could run with
the camera and still maintain a stable shot. I didn’t use an
lighting as I relied heavily upon natural lighting and this worked
to my benefit as I could maintain a natural process of light
through the day without having to use multiple days to film a
similar scene
4. Social Media & Video Sharing
To promote my video online I used the video sharing website,
YouTube. I used YouTube, as it is a popular video sharing site
where I can show my video to a large audience and also receive
comments from the comment system which means I can
evaluate feedback from my audience and then alter my film
around this feedback. Also I then shared the video on Facebook
where I could then get my Facebook friends to watch the video
and then leave comments on Facebook which would allow me
to gain useful feedback from both Facebook and YouTube.
