New-home builder and manager of master-planned communities across Arizona.
Superintendent (December 2010 to July 2012)
Production Manager (January 2007 to December 2010)
Supervised 20 superintendents in active adult community, moving into different community with 10
supervisors. Implemented training programs for internal and external team members on skills and
processes. Through downturn in real estate industry, position was eliminated and transitioned to role of
one of two superintendents, maintaining many of the same responsibilities with new title.
Key Accomplishments
        Drove top-performing adult division in buyer satisfaction, cost controls, construction schedules,
        walk-throughs, and on-time delivery by setting high standards and managing team performance.
        Instrumental to cutting costs by developing standards and implementing training programs and
        processes that were more manageable while creating increased builder-to-trade and trade-to-
        trade collaboration; systems remain in place company-wide.
        Improved corporate culture and community impressions by maintaining impeccably clean and
        safe community and worksites.

Quality Performance Review Manager (June 2005 to January 2007)
Trained both internal employees and external contractors on Shea best practices and expected quality
standards via development of clear, easily measured standards for each discipline. Wrote, developed,
and revised working standards as needed. Vetted potential vendors’ and contractors’ processes and
safety standards to identify whether or not they would become viable partners. Conducted quality
performance reviews of Shea and trade teams’ performance.

assistant superintendents, customer-service professionals, and tradespeople working at each site.
