My first day of school slides

1. WELCOME TO EARTH
SCIENCE

2. CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
• Give max effort- If you struggle, ask for help.
• No such thing as stupid- YOU CAN DO IT!
• Take responsibility- Do your work and don’t give excuses
• Stay organized!

3. ATTENDANCE POLICY
• Be on Time!- after the 3rd tardy you will receive a “0” for class that day.
• If you miss my class for any reason, it is your responsibility to get your
make up work.
• If you missed a test and no new material was given, you are expected
to take the test the day your return. If it is an unexcused absence, 10
points will be deducted from final grade.
• If you have an unexcused absence will receive a zero daily grade for
that day.

4. CLASSROOM PROCEDURES
• Come in to my class quietly
• Have all materials you may need
• Check board for daily work (lecture, classwork, test, etc.)
• Start Bell work immediately
• Raise your hand and do not speak unless called on
• If you need help please ask!
• During tests there will be no talking of any sort!

5. RULES
• Be Responsible- For your work, your actions, your behavior, your materials
• Be Respectful- quiet while the teacher is talking or other students, NO BULLYING!
• Be Positive- Always be encouraging to others, you can do it!
• BE ON TIME- That does not mean sprinting in as the bell rings, you must use the
bathroom before the tardy bell rings.
• NO CHEATING!!

• I am a Christian, husband, coach, and teacher.
• I wonder where the Lord will send me next.

• I see children every day and couldn’t be happier.
• I want to make a difference in their lives.
• I am a leader of faith.

• I understand that I will mess up.
• I say to myself to learn from those mistakes.
• I dream that one day I will be successful because of my failures.
• I am Coach Wooten.
