wireless broadband technology
designed to support roaming

handheld devices. Because LTE offers
significant improvements over older
cellular communication standards.

Different sub channels may be allocated to different users as a
multiple access mechanism. This type of multi access scheme is
called OFDMA.

– Enhanced peak data rates to support advanced
services and applications (100 Mbit/s for high
and 1 Gbit/s for low mobility).

• The first and also the main advantage of LTE is
it decrease the traffic communications while
sending data.
• LTE offers faster data rate transfer which in
higher download and upload rate
• it will also reduce the problem of lagging in
internet connection.

• This Technology need the usage of
additional antennas at network base
stations for data transmission.
• This increase the cost for the users to
buy a new cell phones to make use
of new network infrastructure.
