7. Good housekeeping habits are an important part of a safe
workplace.
Why is good housekeeping important?
Keep your warehouse / office clean and well arranged at all
times.
Where inflammable liquids are in used in all store, smoking
and use of naked flames or lights should be prohibited by
display suitable and prominent notice.
Elsewhere, provide smoking zone with non-combustible
receptacles for cigarette ends and matches.
Discourage cooking in offices and where it must be done, it
should be in specially designated kitchenettes equipped with
appropriate fire extinguishers.

Assist ant person in immediate danger to safety.
Activate the building fire alarm; shout for help-Fire!Fire!Fire! And call 999
Switch off electricity & air conditioning system to prevent.

Do not fight a fire if
