This is question 1 of my evaluation

1. In what ways does you media product use, develop or challenge forms
and conventions of real media products?
When creating my magazine cover and contents page I wanted to make
sure that the form and conventions were similar to that of other
magazines. I wanted to make sure that I had a bright main image with
smiling faces to make the magazine look more enticing and enjoyable to
read. I wanted to make sure that I had an interesting and snappy
masthead to automatically grab my reader’s attention and I went with
‘Cor Unum’ which is irish for ‘One Heart’ this really speaks out our school
motto. I wanted to ensure that I had the school colours of red, green
and yellow throughout my front cover and contents page and I think I
achieved this goal. I wanted to have interesting story lines to attract my
target audience’s attention.
