2. Mountain Camp method: newspaper directly on
frames, granulated sugar on top. Some lightly mist
the paper and surface of the sugar.
3. Sugar Cakes
2 cups sugar
¼ cup water
1. Pour sugar in
container
2. Add water—just
enough to make it lumpy;
too much and it won't set
up
3. Microwave 1 minute—
Caution: HOT
4. Allow to cool and pop
out of mold
4. Sugar brick recipe:
25# cane sugar
1 qt. Apple cider vinegar (the real thing, NOT just
flavored)
2 Tbsp citric acid
1/2 tsp electrolytes
Mix in five gallon bucket with a paint paddle on a drill.
Spread mixture about an inch thick on a cookie sheet
to let it dry.
