Offer Saturday Writing Camps for 5th grade

order to prepare for the format of the test.

Integrate daily writing activities in all
classrooms and utilize journal writing
across the curriculum.

6. Seek Out The Media Specialist
Use the media specialist to help teach writing
skills. The media center will implement the
Writing Workshop.

7. Writing Workshop
A consistent writing process for students
which focuses on fostering lifelong
learners. It is based on four principles:
*students write about own lives
*students use consistent process
*the work is authentic
*the workshop fosters independence
