Responsibility Page 2
The ultimate word in life is "responsibility". What is responsibility you ask? Responsibility is "doing
the right thing". Doing the right thing means living a life where every move or decision you make
is all your own and you do things that will not harm others. It is a moral belief that as individuals
we must behave ethical and be accountable for our actions, and be conscious of our decisions and
the impact it has on society. In today's world I believe we have even more responsibilities then our
ancestors. If we do not take responsibility for our actions...show more content...
So many people believe freedom means you have the right to do as you please, however, that is
not 100% true. As soon as you stop taking responsibility for what you do in life, it is almost
certain you will be doing things that will be harmful to others. This is why it is so important to
have laws that society must abide by. As an example, let's say you are having a get together and
you have you stereo on a little too loud. To you and the people attending your party the music is
just fine, but to your neighbors it is entirely too loud and disruptive. Wouldn't you be a responsible
person if you made sure that the music was loud enough for you and your guests to enjoy, but not
too loud that it would annoy your neighbors? Responsibility Page 4
When one recognizes that they are 100% responsible for their life, they will soon see the great
achievements that come with being a responsible person. Responsibility is a very valuable trait in
all that we do. Taking responsibility for one's self leads to a more optimistic life and one is able
to accomplish all that they want. Sometimes taking responsibility can be a very difficult thing, but
in the end one is usually happy that they did. If one chose's to lead an irresponsible life, they will
soon see that they will be living a much uncontrolled life and therefore grow to be very pessimistic.
One's health is also affected by the choices one makes. When we choose

Personal Responsibility and Accountability Essay
Personal Responsibility and Accountability Due to my recent troubles at work I have been
counseled twice in the past several weeks. This has given me a lot of time to reflect at the way I
have really presented myself in the Army thus far. I have not always been the best Soldier that I
could have been during most of the time I that I have been in so far. Thinking about this does
bother me, it means that I could be trying harder to get ahead and better myself as a Soldier and a
person. Lets say for example I have been late to work twice in the past several weeks not only to
include missing a pt formation altogether. I did this by not ensuring that i had met alo of my neds to
ensure that i woudl wake up in the morning. But by doing...show more content...
I did the right thing after not going to formation in the first palce by calling who had already been
done with pt. Which is were some realized that I am not a good Soldier and that I need to start
being the responsible that the Army needs. In doing so I will be going to pt with a fellow Soldier
that is pretty squared away and insuring that I have a way to and from work as well as pt and any
other things that may occur. I have thought about these things and realize that this is not how I
want to spend mym time in the Army. If people are not responsible for the things that they do then
we are all doomed for failure on the battlefield or in an office environment that I work in now we
all have the simple responsibilities. By showing this type of irresponsibility on the battlefield it
could have costed lives and I know that I would not have been able to handle that. I have
determined that due to my recent actions I will not let things like this happen to myself, I am going
to take care of my business and get things done the Army way not the shamming Specialist way.
Responsibility is not to be taken lightly it is put there to make you a better person and in my case

Reflection On Corporate Social Responsibility
From the beginning of Fall semester BUAD 3111, I was not sure exactly which topic would
provide a key learning experience in this class. I must point out the fact that learning of the impact
of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has and will affect me as I develop my career. Based on
the lectures and research to answer the discussion questions, I see the great importance CSR plays in
the business world. CSR demonstrates to both consumers and the media that a company takes an
interest in wider social issues that have no direct impact on profit margins. These issues may be
local, national or global, with a concern for the health and wellness of others. Nevertheless, to
provide additional insight as to the impact of a company's CSR policy, I will define CSR and
business ethic fundamentals, identify stakeholder's roles, discuss consumers as stakeholders'
information issues/responses and lastly, discuss the natural environment as a stakeholder. In my
attempt to further explain, CSR is a model for incorporating ethical business regulations into a
business model. This model provides companies a framework to embrace a responsibility towards
the employees, community, and the environment. In other words, their financial success or profit,
their contributions to a livable environment and their contribution to solving social problems. The
business contribution to a charity, cause or community can be a significant amount of charitable
funds, product donations or other ventures. For

In many situations in my life, I have been personally accountable for my actions. Every part of
being who I am has something to do with morality. Being responsible and accountable for what I
do is something I take very personally. It is a key point in my personality and a critical part of
being part of the US Army. Being accountable is something a lot of people typically avoid. In
many instances of our lives, and in our country and our society, there are times where people aren't
accountable and don't own up to what they're doing. Social and political problems are abound in
this country from people not being accountable and responsible for what they do. Our country is full

I also was a friendly, likeable guy. People weren't afraid of me or intimidated, and I respected their
homes and was responsible enough to clean my work area before I headed out. To this day, there
are people who want me to go work for them once my time is up in the Army. My bosses back
then, as well as my customers, knew they could put me in hard working conditions and count on
me to get things done. I worked in boiler rooms, on telephone poles and in cramped crawlspaces.
They knew I was dedicated and responsible enough to get done anything that I had to. They also
trusted me to be accountable in that when I had to go into someone's house and start drilling holes
in walls, or digging trenches, that I wouldn't mess something up or punch a bunch of holes we didn't
need. I was respectful of someone's house– even when they didn't mind, I still respected that. It gave
people a good impression when you treat their home nice. It also generated compliments, which
made it to my bosses and up the chain, and I got lots of thanks for that. When layoffs came, I was
always held over– it was usually the unaccountable, lazy ones that got canned. Lying was also a big
deal, as everyone messes up sometimes– but being honest about things not going your way is a lot
better than lying and making excuses. Excuses and lies got people kicked off of job sites. Being
honest gave me job security. When I was in Job Corps training to be an electrician I also know what

Roles and Responsibility Essay
Roles and Responsibilities
This essay is to evaluate what your role, responsibilities and boundaries as a teacher would be in
terms of the teaching/training cycle.
In order for one to completely explore the task expected from the author, it is paramount to
understand the meaning of the terminology used in this essay.
The author begins by giving a brief definition of "role".
According to the dictionary, role is defined as one's part, expected function, job, duty, task,
responsibility. Readers' digest. Whilst, online dictionary, Encarta (1998–2005) claim added that,

What Does It Mean To Be Responsible Essay
Responsibility means being responsible, or accountable for something within one's power,
control, or management. We first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be
responsible for others. In learning to be more responsible it is important that we know our
limitations. Being responsible is sign of having good character. Irresponsible people often break
the rules, causing injury to themselves or others. Some examples of responsibility is being on
time, being prepared, and managing your time wisely. The importance of being on time indicates
that you honor your commitments and you can be responsible. It also shows that you have respect
for other people and that you care as much about their time as your own. When you are late for
appointments with people who value their time you have wasted their time, and there is a good
chance that they will view you as rude, irresponsible and disrespectful. If you tell someone that you
will meet them a certain time you have made a promise. And...show more content...

book that means you are prepared. If you are missing any of these supplies for that particular class
that means you are not prepared. If you are not prepared you will either lose points or deal with
the consequences. So as you can see being prepared is a huge responsibility on you. Managing
your time wisely is really important. Mentioning that time is passing by pretty fast so we have to
use it in the best way possible. Let us say that you have a test to study for and the test is on
Monday and today is Saturday. So you decide to play and hang out all Saturday and Sunday
something comes up so you did not have enough time to study for your test. That means you did not
manage your time wisely, so the better you manage your time the more things you can

Personal Statement On Personal Responsibility
Personal responsibility is holding you accountable for all your actions and decisions. Being
personally responsible means you take ownership of what you do in and with your life. This
means from the time you wake up until you go to bed at night, your life is your responsibility and
yours alone. Your values, morals, and beliefs are all contributing factors in how you view being
personally responsible. If you have been raised and taught to believe that you should consider your
actions at all times, then responsibility becomes second nature to you . For some it may be a little
more difficult to grasp this concept. What we need to remember is that personal responsibility is
important in every aspect of life . In college one has to take personal responsibility very seriously. I
began my college education in my early thirties. I had been out of school for quite some time and
knew that I faced a real challenge. I had to purpose in my mind that I was going to do whatever it
took to reach my academic goals. Starting out I faced several disadvantages , from lack of
financial aid, to self doubt. I had to take charge of what was my dream and find a way to make it
happen. I went to the college after obtaining my GED and just laid it all out on the line. Once I
received my first class schedule I felt I was on my way. That very first class night I had an eye
opening moment. I realized that this was going to take a lot of hard work and determination. I found
out quickly that not everyone

Essay on The Effects Of Power On Responsibility
The Effects of Power on Responsibility
Power and responsibility have a complex relationship that is connected by factors such as a
person's morals and ethics, personality, and under what conditions the person was raised. In a
world where power can be found in many forms and in many places, the use and abuse of power can
be seen regularly. Power is not just being the CEO of a fortune five–hundred company, or being an
elected political representative, the manager of Taco Bell has power, as well as parents as they
raise their children. These are the people who have the most influence on how power is used, and if
it is used with responsibility. In the United states there are five–hundred and thirty–five
congressmen, a president, and a...show more content...
But who is to say that the Lance Armstrong, pre–six Tour–de–France victories would not have
wanted to make a foundation for cancer? He simply did not have the power to start a foundation
for cancer. But once he gained the power, it gave him a means to the end. Often we have ideas that
would show great amounts of responsibility, but simply cannot put them into action because we do
not have power, and in this way power has a great effect on responsibility. Power does not always
change a person's morals or responsibility, it just gives them the opportunity to achieve greater things
that they may not have been able to accomplish before they gained their power.
An increase in responsibility will change a person's use of power because they may do things for
the good of other people that are not necessarily looking out for themselves. In the case of Staff
Sgt. Frank D. Wuterich, his level of responsibility was increased when he became the man in
charge of a squad of marines. Many people believe that his actions were crimes against humanity,
but in his situation he used his power responsibly to try to heel the men he was responsibly for
alive. An article by Josh White of the Washington Post says:
Staff Sgt. Frank D. Wuterich, 26, told his attorney that several civilians were killed Nov. 19 when
his squad went after insurgents who were

What Is Responsibility Essay
Responsibility Essay
Responsibility in a person is a must as they can be more trusting and dependable if they have even
the slightest amount of responsibility unlike those who don't have any they can be lacking in many
things and most people will see them as drags on society. Not only that, but they seem to have
negative impressions with everyone else as they do not really help contribute to the betterment of
mankind but that is how most people act in today's world. But they still seem to go on and make the
best of the day that they can. Responsibility is hard for a lot of people, it puts stress on you and
makes people think you're dependent so they might start asking more from you. That saying, my
life would be much better than it already is if I took reasonability for my Self in more ways than one.

putting a huge responsibility on my shoulders. Now if I were more responsible this would be no
problem, but at the moment my friend most likely would be uneasy about letting me watch his
house. Another thing if I was more responsible I could help my community and make sure it is a
better place to live. This would not only be beneficial to others, but my self–esteem may be raised
by this effort. Finally, I would have more friends and maybe be more popular than I already am as
I could be more outgoing and adventure out of my safe zone so I may get noticed more often.

Personal Responsibility
To be successful you must be responsible for your actions. Personal responsibility is having integrity,
and taking ownership for your actions. Doing the right thing will demonstrate being personally
responsible and will result in a successful experience in life.
Personal responsibility is taking ownership of your thoughts and actions. To me, personal
responsibility is having integrity. What I mean by this is being trustworthy, to do the right thing all
the time. For example, plagiarizing work, if someone is trustworthy they will do their own work,
rather than copy someone else's and turning that work in for a grade. If someone is to have
integrity, they will also report any wrong doings that they are aware of. If you know of someone
that is cheating or plagiarizing and you do not report the incident, you are just as much at fault as
the other person. Above would be another example of what I believe personal responsibility means,
doing the right thing even though it may not be the popular thing to do. Accountability is another
trait of being personally responsible. Being accountable means not blaming others for your choices
or lack of choices. If you choose not to complete an assignment it is your own fault and there is no
one to blame but...show more content...
Being accountable for your actions or lack of actions will show that you are responsible. Without
being responsible you will not be successful in college, which means that the best decisions for

Because I did not want to let my boss down, I would get into this zone, where I would not see or

a positive replacement. According to Lucas McCain (2012),"Stress Management: 101 Best Ways
to Relieve Stress and Really Live Life" (pg 64) " The important thing here is to find your particular
negative coping strategy and address your stress, and replace your strategy with a positive one that
address that same stress." Self– Discipline and scheduling effectively are critical factors when it
comes to successfully managing your time. Having self–discipline is a vital necessity, when you are

Business and Social Responsibility Essay
Business and Social Responsibility It is widely known that for a business to be successful it
needs to provide a good or service that is desired by the public and also to obtain a profit in
providing said good or service. Now while these are the most important components to a successful
business, they are not the only ones. The social responsibilities of a business include the following:
environmental protection and preservation, employee safety and morale, product safety for the
consumer. The financial manager must keep these three social responsibilities in mind when making
any and all decisions. The environment has become a big issue over the last 30–40 years, especially
for the businesses that may negatively affect it....show more content...
In turn this bad publicity has negatively affected the business and in a lot of cases, caused the
business to fade away. It is the job of the financial manager to oversee these environmental issues
and make socially responsible decisions not only to avoid bad publicity, but to do their part in aiding
the environment in a financially sound manner.
A business's employees are probably the most important part of the organization. In short, if there is
something that hinders the performance of the employees the whole company suffers. Providing a
safe and stimulating work environment is another thing that a financial manager should do to
efficiently and effectively turn out a superior product. By keeping employee accidents to a minimum
a business will avoid costly lawsuits and down–time.
Every business must realize that an unsafe product will not last in the open market and will, in the
long run, cost more money to correct. The financial manager must understand that, above all, the
product must be safe. He/she must decide the most cost–effective manner to manufacture the product
and also have it deemed safe to use. I believe that this detail of product safety should be addressed
very early on in the production process, as should the other two.
In conclusion, a business has an obligation to return something to society. Although the financial
manager's main purpose is to acquire and control funds efficiently and effectively to maximize

What Does Responsibility Mean To Me Essay
The definition of responsibility is different in my head than it is in a dictionary. My definition of
responsibility is to make the right choices and do the right things. It also is to be continuously
responsible not just for one time. This is the same with my definition of maturity. Maturity to me
is to be adult and act properly or with care in some situations. A dear friend of mine, Amie
Johnson, has influenced me with her extremely responsible character trait. Amie embodies this trait
of responsibility by making great choices when she could have gone down a bad path. She has had

Short Stories : Personal Responsibility
Do you feel an obligation to think about other people's welfare? If you do, how far does that
responsibility extend? Are you responsible for a sibling, a neighbor, or even a stranger across the
world? The short stories I read help me think about the world around me and enlighten my
understanding of my personal responsibility to others. First, these short stories show personal
responsibility by describing to what degree we are responsible for the weaker or oppressed
members of society. Second, the short stories I read helped me think about to what extent should
we be driven by personal responsibility to act with compassion, empathy, and concern for others.
Finally, short stories exemplify how we are personally responsible for our friends and how we live
our own lives.
First, short stories show personal responsibility by describing to what degree we are responsible
for the weaker or oppressed members of society.Throughout the short stories, I have seen how the
weaker and oppressed member of society are being helped. For example, in the short story, the

brother who cannot care for himself. As the narrator says in the story, "It seemed so hopeless from

The Medical Field Must Carry Responsibility
Anyone who enters into the medical field should carry responsibility embodied in following the
dictum, in the promise, "to do no harm." They would have to learn the craft as adeptly as possibly
educating themselves to help those who are in need. Once the Physical Therapist becomes
familiarized with the goals, they take into another consideration with promise, which is "to
improve quality of life." As a Physical Therapist we are given tools to improve someone's life
experience through our education and continual learning. In addition, with all the goals as a
Physical Therapist has completed, they are able to optimize a person's movement. Eventually,
physical therapists are able to experience the wonders of helping others by their existence in their
lifetime. As a physical therapist, embodying the vision to improve quality of life, we double our
number in our goals to improve the human experience with the tools that we learned, and we seek
for more knowledge. There is a balance between the body and mind. This means, the person is able
to have balance with the sociality and dealing with their health situation. Whether this affects the
person themselves or those who are around them. My goal is to become a Physical therapist and
aim to prepare my attitude in order to erase any negative effects and increase the positive outcomes
of each patient. With the knowledge that I have obtained, I will continue my education in graduate
school and beyond. I will apply all my strengths in

Essay On Age Of Responsibility
Age of Responsibility Essay The idea of responsibility differs within the mind of each individual.
The age of responsibility has changed over time but relies heavily on laws, culture, and location.
The age of maturity that we follow is not reliable. People are not mature enough to be considered
an adult until the age of 25. The stage of adulthood we live by is outdated and unjustified by
science. The age of responsibility and maturity is based on an outdated system referring back to
the middle ages. According to the article What is the Age of Responsibility by Alan Greeblatt

wearing a full suit of armor." The fact that responsibility is based on a cultural belief is ridiculous.

knowledge that a person may not rent a car until the age of 25. This is not just some random age
chosen by the car rental companies to keep people from renting cars, 25 is the age that the brain
is fully developed and is capable of making responsible decisions. There are many factors that go
into the idea of responsibility but, one thing is certain the age of adulthood should be pushed
back to the age of 25. 25 is the year in a person's life where their brain is fully developed and are

Definition of Responsibility Essay

  • 1. Definition Essay Responsibility Responsibility Page 1 What is the meaning of Responsibility? Definition Essay Karen Bannan Writing 101 Professor Leone January 30, 2011 Responsibility Page 2 The ultimate word in life is "responsibility". What is responsibility you ask? Responsibility is "doing the right thing". Doing the right thing means living a life where every move or decision you make is all your own and you do things that will not harm others. It is a moral belief that as individuals we must behave ethical and be accountable for our actions, and be conscious of our decisions and the impact it has on society. In today's world I believe we have even more responsibilities then our ancestors. If we do not take responsibility for our actions...show more content... So many people believe freedom means you have the right to do as you please, however, that is not 100% true. As soon as you stop taking responsibility for what you do in life, it is almost certain you will be doing things that will be harmful to others. This is why it is so important to have laws that society must abide by. As an example, let's say you are having a get together and you have you stereo on a little too loud. To you and the people attending your party the music is just fine, but to your neighbors it is entirely too loud and disruptive. Wouldn't you be a responsible person if you made sure that the music was loud enough for you and your guests to enjoy, but not too loud that it would annoy your neighbors? Responsibility Page 4 When one recognizes that they are 100% responsible for their life, they will soon see the great achievements that come with being a responsible person. Responsibility is a very valuable trait in all that we do. Taking responsibility for one's self leads to a more optimistic life and one is able to accomplish all that they want. Sometimes taking responsibility can be a very difficult thing, but in the end one is usually happy that they did. If one chose's to lead an irresponsible life, they will soon see that they will be living a much uncontrolled life and therefore grow to be very pessimistic. One's health is also affected by the choices one makes. When we choose Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Personal Responsibility and Accountability Essay Personal Responsibility and Accountability Due to my recent troubles at work I have been counseled twice in the past several weeks. This has given me a lot of time to reflect at the way I have really presented myself in the Army thus far. I have not always been the best Soldier that I could have been during most of the time I that I have been in so far. Thinking about this does bother me, it means that I could be trying harder to get ahead and better myself as a Soldier and a person. Lets say for example I have been late to work twice in the past several weeks not only to include missing a pt formation altogether. I did this by not ensuring that i had met alo of my neds to ensure that i woudl wake up in the morning. But by doing...show more content... I did the right thing after not going to formation in the first palce by calling who had already been done with pt. Which is were some realized that I am not a good Soldier and that I need to start being the responsible that the Army needs. In doing so I will be going to pt with a fellow Soldier that is pretty squared away and insuring that I have a way to and from work as well as pt and any other things that may occur. I have thought about these things and realize that this is not how I want to spend mym time in the Army. If people are not responsible for the things that they do then we are all doomed for failure on the battlefield or in an office environment that I work in now we all have the simple responsibilities. By showing this type of irresponsibility on the battlefield it could have costed lives and I know that I would not have been able to handle that. I have determined that due to my recent actions I will not let things like this happen to myself, I am going to take care of my business and get things done the Army way not the shamming Specialist way. Responsibility is not to be taken lightly it is put there to make you a better person and in my case Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Reflection On Corporate Social Responsibility From the beginning of Fall semester BUAD 3111, I was not sure exactly which topic would provide a key learning experience in this class. I must point out the fact that learning of the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has and will affect me as I develop my career. Based on the lectures and research to answer the discussion questions, I see the great importance CSR plays in the business world. CSR demonstrates to both consumers and the media that a company takes an interest in wider social issues that have no direct impact on profit margins. These issues may be local, national or global, with a concern for the health and wellness of others. Nevertheless, to provide additional insight as to the impact of a company's CSR policy, I will define CSR and business ethic fundamentals, identify stakeholder's roles, discuss consumers as stakeholders' information issues/responses and lastly, discuss the natural environment as a stakeholder. In my attempt to further explain, CSR is a model for incorporating ethical business regulations into a business model. This model provides companies a framework to embrace a responsibility towards the employees, community, and the environment. In other words, their financial success or profit, their contributions to a livable environment and their contribution to solving social problems. The business contribution to a charity, cause or community can be a significant amount of charitable funds, product donations or other ventures. For Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. In many situations in my life, I have been personally accountable for my actions. Every part of being who I am has something to do with morality. Being responsible and accountable for what I do is something I take very personally. It is a key point in my personality and a critical part of being part of the US Army. Being accountable is something a lot of people typically avoid. In many instances of our lives, and in our country and our society, there are times where people aren't accountable and don't own up to what they're doing. Social and political problems are abound in this country from people not being accountable and responsible for what they do. Our country is full of instances, playing out everywhere, of people who make poor...show more content... I also was a friendly, likeable guy. People weren't afraid of me or intimidated, and I respected their homes and was responsible enough to clean my work area before I headed out. To this day, there are people who want me to go work for them once my time is up in the Army. My bosses back then, as well as my customers, knew they could put me in hard working conditions and count on me to get things done. I worked in boiler rooms, on telephone poles and in cramped crawlspaces. They knew I was dedicated and responsible enough to get done anything that I had to. They also trusted me to be accountable in that when I had to go into someone's house and start drilling holes in walls, or digging trenches, that I wouldn't mess something up or punch a bunch of holes we didn't need. I was respectful of someone's house– even when they didn't mind, I still respected that. It gave people a good impression when you treat their home nice. It also generated compliments, which made it to my bosses and up the chain, and I got lots of thanks for that. When layoffs came, I was always held over– it was usually the unaccountable, lazy ones that got canned. Lying was also a big deal, as everyone messes up sometimes– but being honest about things not going your way is a lot better than lying and making excuses. Excuses and lies got people kicked off of job sites. Being honest gave me job security. When I was in Job Corps training to be an electrician I also know what Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 6. What Does It Mean To Be Responsible Essay Responsibility means being responsible, or accountable for something within one's power, control, or management. We first need to be responsible for ourselves before we can be responsible for others. In learning to be more responsible it is important that we know our limitations. Being responsible is sign of having good character. Irresponsible people often break the rules, causing injury to themselves or others. Some examples of responsibility is being on time, being prepared, and managing your time wisely. The importance of being on time indicates that you honor your commitments and you can be responsible. It also shows that you have respect for other people and that you care as much about their time as your own. When you are late for appointments with people who value their time you have wasted their time, and there is a good chance that they will view you as rude, irresponsible and disrespectful. If you are missing any of these supplies for that particular class that means you are not prepared. If you are not prepared you will either lose points or deal with the consequences. So as you can see being prepared is a huge responsibility on you. Managing your time wisely is really important. Mentioning that time is passing by pretty fast so we have to use it in the best way possible. Let us say that you have a test to study for and the test is on Monday and today is Saturday. So you decide to play and hang out all Saturday and Sunday something comes up so you did not have enough time to study for your test. That means you did not manage your time wisely, so the better you manage your time the more things you can Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Responsibility In The Military Essay Responsibility is soap, It can keep you clean and fights germs, however, soap can easily slip away if you don't hold on and still if you grab too tight. The smaller the hands the harder it gets to hold on too. Bad things will happen to you if it slips away, Don't drop the soap. I had just finished 7th grade and was going into my last year of middle school and was getting too old for camp. I had been going to the school camps for awhile and knew that this was going to be my last year. Because next summer was going to be in high school. I was 13 turning 14 and was one of the older kids at my camp. It was a hot and humid day and the weather was perfect, In the morning I woke up, brushed my teeth and ate breakfast and got ready for camp. So I dropped it on the nearest table where everyone's bags were and I hid it under a bag so that no one would see it and In a way that definitely wouldn't slip into someone else's bag by mistake. I can't stress enough how unlikely how hidden it thought it was and that I shouldn't have slipped into anyone bag, especially if all of them were the small stringy bags with no pockets. So I left it there and went to play wall ball. After a kicking butt in wall ball for a good 45 minutes we went back to the cafeteria and the first thing I do is to get my phone from the table. "Haha did you me doge that fastball from Rocco at the end" I said "Yea that was pretty awesome, but I had a better one yesterday" said Dylan "I made it pretty far this time, too" said Dylan "Hold on where's my phone" I said as I scurry through the bags "Did you check, your pockets" said Dylan "There not there I know left it under this bag" I Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Responsibility means to be accountable, and I can be trusted. It means I have can manage how you act. This means I can own up to what I did. This day was my day to own up, and say what I did wrong. On Mondays, students go to school looking like zombies. The teachers are looking extremely irritable. In the classrooms there was no energy. Monday was the worst Monday of the year so far. My Monday went from bad to worse.I'm patiently waiting for my bus to get to my house so I can go get some food and go to sleep. As soon as my bus comes to a halt I start to pat my pants for my key. • 9. Personal Statement On Personal Responsibility Personal responsibility is holding you accountable for all your actions and decisions. Being personally responsible means you take ownership of what you do in and with your life. This means from the time you wake up until you go to bed at night, your life is your responsibility and yours alone. Your values, morals, and beliefs are all contributing factors in how you view being personally responsible. If you have been raised and taught to believe that you should consider your actions at all times, then responsibility becomes second nature to you . For some it may be a little more difficult to grasp this concept. What we need to remember is that personal responsibility is important in every aspect of life . In college one has to take personal responsibility very seriously. I began my college education in my early thirties. I had been out of school for quite some time and knew that I faced a real challenge. I had to purpose in my mind that I was going to do whatever it took to reach my academic goals. Starting out I faced several disadvantages , from lack of financial aid, to self doubt. I had to take charge of what was my dream and find a way to make it happen. I went to the college after obtaining my GED and just laid it all out on the line. Once I received my first class schedule I felt I was on my way. That very first class night I had an eye opening moment. I realized that this was going to take a lot of hard work and determination. • 11. Essay on The Effects Of Power On Responsibility The Effects of Power on Responsibility Power and responsibility have a complex relationship that is connected by factors such as a person's morals and ethics, personality, and under what conditions the person was raised. In a world where power can be found in many forms and in many places, the use and abuse of power can be seen regularly. Power is not just being the CEO of a fortune five–hundred company, or being an elected political representative, the manager of Taco Bell has power, as well as parents as they raise their children. These are the people who have the most influence on how power is used, and if it is used with responsibility. In the United states there are five–hundred and thirty–five congressmen, a president, and a...show more content... But who is to say that the Lance Armstrong, pre–six Tour–de–France victories would not have wanted to make a foundation for cancer? He simply did not have the power to start a foundation for cancer. But once he gained the power, it gave him a means to the end. Often we have ideas that would show great amounts of responsibility, but simply cannot put them into action because we do not have power, and in this way power has a great effect on responsibility. Power does not always change a person's morals or responsibility, it just gives them the opportunity to achieve greater things that they may not have been able to accomplish before they gained their power. An increase in responsibility will change a person's use of power because they may do things for the good of other people that are not necessarily looking out for themselves. In the case of Staff Sgt. Frank D. Wuterich, his level of responsibility was increased when he became the man in charge of a squad of marines. Many people believe that his actions were crimes against humanity, but in his situation he used his power responsibly to try to heel the men he was responsibly for alive. An article by Josh White of the Washington Post says: Staff Sgt. Frank D. Wuterich, 26, told his attorney that several civilians were killed Nov. 19 when his squad went after insurgents who were Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. What Is Responsibility Essay Responsibility Essay Responsibility in a person is a must as they can be more trusting and dependable if they have even the slightest amount of responsibility unlike those who don't have any they can be lacking in many things and most people will see them as drags on society. Not only that, but they seem to have negative impressions with everyone else as they do not really help contribute to the betterment of mankind but that is how most people act in today's world. But they still seem to go on and make the best of the day that they can. Responsibility is hard for a lot of people, it puts stress on you and makes people think you're dependent so they might start asking more from you. That saying, my life would be much better than it already is if I took reasonability for my Self in more ways than one. Firstly, I would be more active and would have my stuff done more often than I do now and that would free me up for other things to do and...show more content... I would be able to come through on my promises to people and help them with whatever they need help with. Say my friend across the street needs me to watch his house while he is gone, he is putting a huge responsibility on my shoulders. Now if I were more responsible this would be no problem, but at the moment my friend most likely would be uneasy about letting me watch his house. Another thing if I was more responsible I could help my community and make sure it is a better place to live. This would not only be beneficial to others, but my self–esteem may be raised by this effort. Finally, I would have more friends and maybe be more popular than I already am as I could be more outgoing and adventure out of my safe zone so I may get noticed more often. • 13. Examples Of Personal Responsibility John DeManuelle 3/17/18 Personal Responsibility To be successful you must be responsible for your actions. Personal responsibility is having integrity, and taking ownership for your actions. Doing the right thing will demonstrate being personally responsible and will result in a successful experience in life. Personal responsibility is taking ownership of your thoughts and actions. To me, personal responsibility is having integrity. What I mean by this is being trustworthy, to do the right thing all the time. For example, plagiarizing work, if someone is trustworthy they will do their own work, rather than copy someone else's and turning that work in for a grade. If someone is to have integrity, they will also report any wrong doings that they are aware of. If you know of someone that is cheating or plagiarizing and you do not report the incident, you are just as much at fault as the other person. Above would be another example of what I believe personal responsibility means, doing the right thing even though it may not be the popular thing to do. Accountability is another trait of being personally responsible. Being accountable means not blaming others for your choices or lack of choices. • 15. Business and Social Responsibility Essay Business and Social Responsibility It is widely known that for a business to be successful it needs to provide a good or service that is desired by the public and also to obtain a profit in providing said good or service. Now while these are the most important components to a successful business, they are not the only ones. The social responsibilities of a business include the following: environmental protection and preservation, employee safety and morale, product safety for the consumer. The financial manager must keep these three social responsibilities in mind when making any and all decisions. The environment has become a big issue over the last 30–40 years, especially for the businesses that may negatively affect it....show more content... In turn this bad publicity has negatively affected the business and in a lot of cases, caused the business to fade away. It is the job of the financial manager to oversee these environmental issues and make socially responsible decisions not only to avoid bad publicity, but to do their part in aiding the environment in a financially sound manner. A business's employees are probably the most important part of the organization. In short, if there is something that hinders the performance of the employees the whole company suffers. Providing a safe and stimulating work environment is another thing that a financial manager should do to efficiently and effectively turn out a superior product. By keeping employee accidents to a minimum a business will avoid costly lawsuits and down–time. Every business must realize that an unsafe product will not last in the open market and will, in the long run, cost more money to correct. The financial manager must understand that, above all, the product must be safe. He/she must decide the most cost–effective manner to manufacture the product and also have it deemed safe to use. I believe that this detail of product safety should be addressed very early on in the production process, as should the other two. In conclusion, a business has an obligation to return something to society. Although the financial manager's main purpose is to acquire and control funds efficiently and effectively to maximize Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Responsibility in the Army Responsibility is one of the most important things in the Army. Accountability is also a very important part of being in the army and it goes hand in hand with responsibility. I failed to maintain accountability of my weapon while at Yakima Training Center. This was not an example of being a responsible soldier. This essay will explain what happened and why I think responsibilty is so important in the US Army. I had set my weapon down in the tool room so that I can go grab a couple of things from one of the tricons. When I did this, I had lost visual contact of my weapon while it was unsecure. Because my weapon was unsecure, someone walking by saw it and had grabbed it. When I got back from the tricons, I had noticed that my weapon was...show more content... I always maintain my arms, my equipment and myself; Maintaining my arms doesn 't just mean that I keep them in good working condition, it also means that I 'll maintain accountbility of them. By losing accountability of my weapon I was not maintaining my arms. • 17. What Does Responsibility Mean To Me Essay The definition of responsibility is different in my head than it is in a dictionary. My definition of responsibility is to make the right choices and do the right things. It also is to be continuously responsible not just for one time. This is the same with my definition of maturity. Maturity to me is to be adult and act properly or with care in some situations. A dear friend of mine, Amie Johnson, has influenced me with her extremely responsible character trait. Amie embodies this trait of responsibility by making great choices when she could have gone down a bad path. She has had the option to do many drugs, yet she has not and is in fact trying to create a better and more positive friend circle around her, along with making healthier choices Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Short Stories : Personal Responsibility Do you feel an obligation to think about other people's welfare? If you do, how far does that responsibility extend? Are you responsible for a sibling, a neighbor, or even a stranger across the world? The short stories I read help me think about the world around me and enlighten my understanding of my personal responsibility to others. First, these short stories show personal responsibility by describing to what degree we are responsible for the weaker or oppressed members of society. Second, the short stories I read helped me think about to what extent should we be driven by personal responsibility to act with compassion, empathy, and concern for others. Finally, short stories exemplify how we are personally responsible for our friends and how we live our own lives. First, short stories show personal responsibility by describing to what degree we are responsible for the weaker or oppressed members of society.Throughout the short stories, I have seen how the weaker and oppressed member of society are being helped. For example, in the short story, the "Scarlet Ibis", the narrator has a responsibility, given to him by his mother, to help his younger brother who cannot care for himself. As the narrator says in the story, "It seemed so hopeless from the beginning that it's a miracle I didn't give up. The age of responsibility has changed over time but relies heavily on laws, culture, and location. The age of maturity that we follow is not reliable. People are not mature enough to be considered an adult until the age of 25. The stage of adulthood we live by is outdated and unjustified by science. According to the article What is the Age of Responsibility by Alan Greeblatt "legend has it that 21 was considered the age of adulthood because that is when men are capable of wearing a full suit of armor."
