In June 2017 Dutch leading home
health care provider Buurtzorg
started a pilot project in India with
partner Edugreen who is a leading
provider of skilling centers in rural
areas for health care professions.
The social impact is twofold:
(1) Helping elderly to have a
better life at home and
(2) helping young rural people to
find their first jobs and to start a
professional career.
The pilot proved to be successful
with 4 nurse stations opened so far
in Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi
and Lucknow.
Win-win for both partners: Edugreen can offer captive employment opportunities
and Buurtzorg has a permanent inflow of well trained nurse attendants

• She joined McKinsey in 1995 in Switzerland and since then focused on advising mainly healthcare companies in Europe, the
United States, Greater China and across Asia. Since 2006 she lives in Shanghai/China
• She is a non exective Member of the Board in 3 listed companies (Swiss Pharma leader Hoffmann La Roche, Swiss Chemical
giant Clariant and Australian Hospital Group Ramsay) and since then External Senior Advisor to McKinsey
