2. JAMMIT
Every heart rings music.... Every soul craves music....
Do you remember the time when you feel your music instincts take you
over and make you want to share it with people having similar interests?
•
Imagine a place where you can find people having musical talents as the
same level as you but at the same time having diverse backgrounds,
influences, and cultures. Now you can interact, online and offline, give
and take suggestions, create music/songs/themes/rhymes etc., publish
them and have music company/producers from
local/national/international level contact you either to buy the music
from you or to sponsor your group to meet to develop music that inspires
them as well as you

It all starts from being a music aspirer. In today's world how can one
music aspirer meet other music aspirer’s?
Do you publish in your local forums/community gatherings/professional
or personal contacts. And how do you filter out people having talents at
similar proficiency level of yours out of the ones responding to this
query??
Even online search does not provide a solution for this problem. There
are so many music forums/communities online where it will just be a
brute method to search one by one and deciding to meet and
collaborating with them to create music???
This is where Jammit comes into picture. Jammit is not a music creation
place. It’s not a replacement for traditional jamming clubs/sessions.... It’s
not a music sharing/selling venue.
• Jammit is a platform to create the opportunity for aspiring
musicians to meet people with similar interests.
4. How Jammit works
• Music aspirant will be asked to provide a sample recording of his/her musical
skills along with the location data
• This music will be rated within a scale of 0 to 100 by people who have been
Jammer
certified enough to rate musical talents, hereby called Master

5. How Jammit works
Music
Publication
• Music published, with an option to copyright, will be open to public search/feedback
• The group can improve on the piece and can publish an advanced version of the same
music piece but only one version of the piece will be available to the public at any given
point of time
• Music company/producer in search of new music/musicians can register on the site
• A different search feature is provided where there can give their music genre preference
Music Producer as well as location preferences to search for all the published music pieces along with
their ratings and popularity charts
search
Music Deal
• Once the Producer finds a piece which he finds satisfactory, he will have a choice to
either pitch in a quote to take the music rights or to sponsor the musicians to meet
together for further development
• If the members of that JAM-SITE that has published the piece finds the price quote
satisfactory, they can sell the rights. Else they can retain the rights till they find a better
opportunity.
6. Jammit Administration
Jammit as a admin is involved in maintaining the site
features and also facilitating various functions as
mentioned below:
• During User registration, a charge will have to be paid
by the JAMMER to establish his identity and music
proficiency level.
• Any publication of a music piece will be done for an
amount which also covers the copyrights registration
for the music piece.
• Any interaction between the PRODUCER and JAMMERS
will be provided with a charge to the admin.
7. FAQs
Q . Why should the user pay money for registration?
A. Jammit has to have a professional MASTER to gauge the JAMMER proficiency. Also to provide the various
search facilities and the JAM-SITE feature needs resources which has to be provided by Jammit.
Q. Why should JAMMER proficiency be rated?
A. This is the basis on which Jammit is built, that a user need not spend hours and hours to find people
having similar musical proficiencies. Unless this is done by a professional MASTER, the process cannot be fair.
Q. Why should PRODUCER pay money for registration?
A. Every music piece that the PRODUCER searches has to be published and registered under the existing
music anti-piracy policies to ensure that the JAMMER rights are upheld. Also any interaction between the
JAMMERS and PRODUCER has to be maintained by Jammit.
Q. So if someone copies/pirates the music, does JAMMIT help in finding the culprits?
A. Jammit is a facilitator only. The music pieces are registered under existing anti-piracy laws under all the
JAMMERS names within the JAM-SITE, wherein the price of registering is to be paid by the GROUP. Any issues
arising out of this are to be followed as per existing laws.
Q. Why do I have the localization feature in search?
A. This feature allows the user to search of people as per the JAMMER's comfort level. Also this will enable
local PRODUCERS to be able to sponsor the JAMMERS to meet if possible.
8. FAQs
Q. I am not the initiator for the JAM-SITE. How can I be given authority over the JAM-SITE?
A. There is no leader/sub-ordinate in the Jammit. Once a JAMMER is a member of a JAM-SITE, every
member will have equal rights over all the decisions and needs to approve the same.
Q. If one of the JAMMER in the JAM-SITE is unresponsive, what should I do?
A. Every JAMMER within the JAM-SITE will have a limit of unresponsive period after which his
membership in the JAM-SITE expires and also his music proficiency level is dropped.
Q. So I can join any number of JAM-SITE's?
A. Depending on the type of membership, the number of JAM-SITE's a JAMMER can be an active
member will be decided. If at any point of time a JAMMER wants to drop from any JAM-SITE, he can do
so....and any subsequent re-joins has to be approved by all the members of the JAM-SITE
Q. I was an ex-member for a JAM-SITE but not being given credit for a music piece which was
developed during my membership in the JAM-SITE
A. Any music piece is always registered under all the active JAMMERS under the JAM-SITE at the time
of publishing with their approval. No other party is given a right over the music piece.
