2. Introduction
All universities are try to increase their ranking in the
academic arenaacademic arena.
University ranking system is mainly based on the quality of
research output
Library service is highly influential on the quality of research
output of the university
“the success of research, at both national and
institutional levels, depends critically on the quality
of information services provided to researchers”
(Research Information Network, 2008),

3. EUSL ‐ View
EUSL is working towards to increase its rank
However it was observed that the research outcome ofHowever, it was observed that the research outcome of
EUSL is lower than expected
Especially publishing in peer-reviewed journals seems to be

Most of undergraduates’ dissertations are below in

Students have difficulties…

4. Need for New Service
Moreover, Electronic resources offered by UGC e-journals
consortium and INASP - underutilized in EUSLconsortium and INASP - underutilized in EUSL.

It was observed that after having the workshops….

before to get assistance for their research activities.

Study recommends to continue and further develop this

University library’s and librarians’ role are in a transition
phase, moving from the ownership to information access
New paradigm has emerged for librarians in new century to
value their role among the academic community
The RSS proves that librarians can able to provide services
with demonstrable links to success in achieving institutional
goals.g
