Installation, Operation & Maintenance of 350 kW Solar power plant in Al Uyaynah,Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-
Solar Concentrated PV Array 350 kW(p) + 3.4 MW DG sets with standalone / grid interactive / hybrid
modes of operation. The power plant was designed to feed power to three villages located close to the
capital of Saudi Arabia. Incidentally this was the world’s largest Concentrated Photovoltaic Array Field
(using Fresnel lens) at that time. The plant has advancedtechnology with computercontrolled operations
and data logging systems for R & D activities. The plant was connected to the SCECO grid after few years
of operation in standalone / hybrid mode.
Assisted in R & D activities of the SOLERAS (100 m$ program - Solar Energy Research America- Saudi
Arabia) program and co-authored Technical Papers.
Executed O & M activities related to PVpowered Weather Station and analysis of weather data
