The project entailed commissioning assistance on the 88Kv GIS substation of the
gas engine power plant (GEPP) in Sasolburg. Responsible for performing
commissioning work on the relay panels and do functional testing on the GIS 88kV
board and measuring all the power and control cables in the substation.
5600D substation, Gauteng Province, South Africa, SASOL, 06/2011 - 07/2011,

The project involved a 5600D substation. Responsible for removing the existing
input/output cards from the REF541 relays from feeder panels, installed the new
cards in the REL541 relays and tested the functionality of the cards in relation to
the rest of the board.
5400D substation, Gauteng Province, South Africa, SASOL, 04/2011 - 05/2011,
Technician
The project involved a 5400D substation. Responsible for continued testing (wiring
test), programming and configuration of the overload relays, current transformer
(CT) testing and feeder protection relays. Also responsible for testing the
functionality of the board and the circuit breaker fail scheme.
Auto Thermal Reformer (ATR) for the TSA Skid, Gauteng Province, South
Africa, SASOL, 07/2008 - 11/2008, Technician
The project comprised of electrical work for Sasol's Research and Development
(R&D) division on the TSA Skid gas conditioning pilot plant. Responsible for build,
install, commission and review of the design and installations of the TSA Skid.
