Perspectives on Pam...
Professional,  intelligent,  lady,  trustworthy,  listener,  colleague  &  friend,  resourceful,
talented,  first  to  help  you  out,  producer/eye  for  stage,  quality,  intuitive,  efficient  and  a
person  with  a  lot  of  heart  who  works  well  with  any  age;  certainly  not  in  any  rank  order
but  the  sum  of  all  equally.
Simply,  the  best.    How  fortunate  we  have  been  to  have  Pam  working  at  ISOI.
                                                                                         - Wendy Riber, Music Teacher

Pam has a rare gift for building enthusiasm and commitment in others.
                                                                              - Kathy Dyba, Special Services Director

long-‐                                                                                                      some  being
as  mundane  as  how  to  complete  a  work  order  for  an  event.    She  is  mission-‐driven  and  genuinely  cares
about  both  the  finished  product  and  the  process  involved  in  achieving  the  goal.

She  is  an  invaluable  asset  to  the  school  community,  providing  both  the
inspiration  for  involvement  and  the  glue  that  provides  cohesion  among  team  members.
                                                                           - Andrea Fossum, HS Humanities Teacher

Ms. Shakil is kind, understanding, and helpful. She always helps kids when they are upset or
having trouble with their friends.
                                                                                       - Zayna Khan, Grade 5 Student

what make her exceptional at everything she does. She likes to challenge herself to think

project she takes on is contagious and she motivates people around her to contribute and
become committed. Always so positive and calm, she ensures that everyone is recognized
and valued. Pam leads by example, holds herself to high expectations, yet can always
laugh at herself when she makes mistakes.
                                                                                     - Noreen Jilani, Grade 2 Teacher

                                                                                        - Kris Riber, Grade 4 Teacher

with  quiet  and  positive  determination,  re-‐directing  and  supporting  in  equal  measures,  while
modeling  the  working  protocols  at  all  times.  She  has    worked  tirelessly  to  further  community
understanding  of  the  strategic  plan  and  use  it  as  a  vehicle  for  community  building.
                                                                                                - Ayesha Khan, Parent

                                                                                              - Joan Lewin, Grade 3 Teacher

For me, a measure of a teacher is not just their character but the way in which they can inspire others to be
motivated learners regardless of age. Pam is such a teacher.
My most memorable time with Pam was the guidance and instruction I received from her as she led the
school in its strategic planning. She was so efficient in providing us with the necessary tools and motivation to
progress towards our objectives that I did and still do implore her to write a book. The insights she would
share regarding strategic planning activities would be invaluable to other educators and administrators.
                                                                                     - Shane Van Staden, Athletic Director

Pam  is  a  caring,  compassionate,  and  supportive  professional.    She  is  energetic,  takes  the  initiative,  and  is
always  willing  to  help  if  I  am  overwhelmed.  I  consider  myself  very  fortunate  to  have  such  a  supportive  and
adept  colleague.
                                                            -

situation of conflict with students or times of distress. As a counselor, she has developed a relationship
of trust and respect with the students and their parents. She is innovative in her work with the
Elementary Leadership Council, providing opportunities its members to acquire the skills of leadership.
                                                                              - Liz Abbasi, Assistant Elementary Principal

and  those  are  all  of  the  negative  things  that  I  can  think  of.    On  the  positive  side,  Pam  has  been  one
of  my  favorite  colleagues  and  friends  that  I  have  ever  had  the  pleasure  to  know  and  work  with.    She
is  a  natural  leader  who  is  supportive  and  easy  to  talk  to.    She  takes  risks  by  welcoming  ideas  and
trying  new  things.    The  students  love  and  trust  her.    Pam  also  has  high  expectations  for  herself  and
this  inspires  those  around  her  to  want  to  do  a  better  job.    She  is  even  able  to  put  up  with  my  sense
of  humor!    I  am  truly  not  sure  what  we  are  going  to  do  without  her,  and  she  will  certainly  be  missed.
                                                                                                - Kai Riber, Grade 5 Teacher

Pam is extremely self-motivated and task-oriented. She does her job responsibly and takes
responsibility for her job. (She also has a tendency to get fixated on *stupid* puzzles )
                                                                               - Wayne Peterson, Technology Coordinator

Pam believes in the challenge of improvement, both for herself and for the larger institution. My

their team will experience her dedication, planning skills, organization, ability to come through under

team, no matter what the team is up to!
                                                                                                   - Pamela Ledbetter, Friend
