3. The purpose of this process is to formally acknowledge the

4. Project Manager submits the completed Project Definition
Document (PDD) for review by the Construction Manager and
anyone whose resources will be affected by the Project. Depending
on the size of the Project, one or more meetings can be organized to
present the PDD for review and discussion.
Once the review has been completed, the Project Manager should
prepare the Final Version of the PDD and submit it for
signature/approval; this will signify the close of Project Startup.

5. Once the Final Version of the Project Definition Document (PDD) is
submitted to and approved and signed by the Construction Manager
and any other required signers or their authorized designee, the
Project is authorized to proceed
to Project Planning.
