Give overview of presentation – who I am, where I work, explain re. maya, my role in clinical trials, main part – academic process of introducing wearable in clinical practice, using a project as example.
This is what I have and am, but aside from clinical job I am a clinical trials manager.
This is where I work.
This is what I work with.
Adding design to the mix, with Helix. Frugal innovation – for example – phone apps for reducing chest infections, or stool sample collecting, or pathways in healthcare.
This is a photograph of a gait laboratory, which can accurately map out movements using a a combination of technologies. Quite a resource demanding facility.
Reconstructive surg. Gait assessment – turning gait lab into wearable sensor. Laboratory validation with high speed camera etc.
