to stand out on my front page

a drop shadow onto my text.

This gives my text depth and
makes it stand out on the page
and therefore to the reader.
3. For the plans for my magazines I
coloured them in on Photoshop.
Therefore I have to learn how to
use the brush tool.
However I also wanted to edit the
brush and its effect on my image.
Brush
Change diameter
Change hardness
This allowed me to create a neater
plan and add shading to my plans.
4. To make my images appear more
professional and clearer I
wanted to edit the saturation of
the image.
This allowed me to add red
shades, whilst the lightness
allowed my to lighten dark
images.
5. I developed my skills in image editing
and more specifically in the lighting
effect.
To achieve this lighting effect you select
• Filter
• Render
• Lighting effects
Then change the Style, area and other
factors to create different lighting such
as spotlights onto your image.
6. Furthermore, for my image editing,
I wanted to correct some of the
colouring of my image to make to
more appealing.

Auto- Colour
This edited the image by correcting
the colours such as reducing harsh
reds and brightening greys.
7. I wanted to images to look Pop-Art like so
change the effect on the image.
Filter

Then choose and effect. I went for

This created an interest focus point on the
image that made it stand out from the page.
